Stayed her for my anniversary. Was happy that they allowed me to stay one evening. They said it was a two night minimum and I called last minute so they allowed it. Drove from New York to Rhode Island. Check in is at 4 and we arrived at 130. I knew we couldn’t get into the room that early but literally not a minute earlier. They also wouldn’t allow us to use the lake/boats except in the hours of 4 which is check in, and 11 the next morning. I understand there’s rules but accommodation is key. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were so out dated and literally smelled like they dipped the room in Lysol. The doors in the rooms were interior doors. Hollow wood and water damaged. Over all wasn’t awful but not a place i would recommend or go back to. Any hotel I’ve ever stayed at allowed early check in or in the very least to use their grounds if you arrive early. We made the best of it.
I absolutely LOVED this place!! The front desk staff were so nice. The view was beautiful! Grounds are well kept. Great shower pressure. It was a quiet area too! Even got housekeeping which we didn’t have to ask for so that was super nice. |The restaurant for breakfast was great! Just a quick walk through the front lobby and up the stairs. Nice staff and good selection of food. The view is overlooking the water. |Can’t wait to come back!
Very nice place in a central location for beaches and attractions. Rooms were fairly basic but clean and in good shape. Nice having a pool on the property and it was clean and cared for. Staff was great, helpful, and responsive. We'll kept property with great views. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good and great prices. Great place to sit and relax with the view.
We eat here everyday last day of vacation. 10/10 would recommend! They are always so accommodating for our big group and never disappoint. They’re good is just as great as their service and we just love coming here every year.
Great family owned and operated place to stay. The best showers I’ve have experienced in my travels (and I’ve travelled!) plenty of hot water & pressure! Rooms are so comfortable and the location is perfect for day trips everywhere in the beautiful Ocean State even casino trips in CT. Their restaurant serves delicious meals as well (delicious orange juice) The grounds are just so pretty with a gorgeous pool and pool deck area. Horseshoes, golf practice, kayaking, paddleboat are available as well as being 3 mins from Ninigret Park. Scott & David are the best hosts. Enjoy your stay !!!
Scott and staff are very accommodating. Rooms clean. Pool immaculate. Breakfast at Fosters Pier delicious!
Our family has been coming here for years. We now come with my kids families and we all stay dockside. We have separate rooms but can all sit outside together. Wife and I stay in the end rooms with the kitchen and the boys all stay in adjacent rooms. My son with 4 kids stayed in the rooms with 4 2 bunk beads and a kitchen and master bedroom with a King size bead. The rooms are right on the water at Foster Pond. There are acres of land right outside your doors for the Grandchildren to play on. So much to do at the hotel plus we are so close to everything. Watch hill,Masquamacutt, Gallilea, Westerly, Blue shutters beach, Nordic lodge, hungry haven, Roger Williams zoo.. The rooms are not high end but they dont cost 250 a night. We have checked out other motels and we were not impressed. This place has been family owned and is taken care of by the family. Very safe place. Pond with paddleboats and canoes . Fishing, big inground clean pool. Shuffleboard, billiards , tennis, cable tv.
My wife and I stayed there this past weekend. The first room we choose with a view of the water was a bit small for us, so we asked if we could move. They were happy to accommodate us. When we pulled up to the 2nd room we were a bit concerned based on the outside look. When we opened the door we were very happy to see a large room with new carpet, fixtures and furniture recently installed. Plenty of room and the deck off the back overlooking the large field and water was very relaxing. We will be back as it also is centrally located between Newport and Watchill. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating.
East Beach in Rhode Island is truly a hidden gem for beach lovers. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a serene escape with its soft, white sand and gentle waves. The beach is immaculately maintained, allowing visitors to fo
beautiful indoor decor, very friendly service, clean bathrooms and eating space, and fantastic food (although a bit pricey) even if it was on the expensive side, you get what you pay for. I had a steak that was perfectly cooked with a spaghetti side
