I had the chance to stay at this hotel with my girlfriend. Talk about some memorable and passionate nights! 😂❤️ The rooms may not be palatial, but they're honestly beyond satisfactory with their tidy and well-organised interiors. 🛏️🧹 The complimentary breakfast was nothing extravagant, but hey, it was included! 🥐 The real winner for us was the location. Being just a quick 20-25 min hop from the beach, it couldn't have been more convenient. 🏖️⏱️ Overall, definitely a good place to crash if you're not looking for all the bells and whistles! 👍👍 #arnoldvides

I stayed here just for a night. My room faced the Starbucks driveway, surprisingly enough it was quiet. I was satisfied, not bad at all. The only problem I had was the room had a smell to it. Was supposed to be a smoke free room. Don't really think that was true. I sprayed some body spray and was fine. I would stay here again, it was cool for a night.

Nice place. Really nice king room for the money. Very pleasantly surprised buy the value and service I recieved. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are hard. Bathrooms are clean and have a nice shower head. We have a refrigerator and it works really well. Toilets are power flush, so they are a bit loud at night but not bad. There is a really good Mexican restaurant next door as well as a Starbucks in the same building. Super convenient! The cook part I liked was all the fruit trees around the place with fruit growing on them. Just a little something extra you wont find at other hotels. Great place for the value. Not too noisy for being a motel right off the highway. Overall great stay

Rooms are adequate, the gal was very helpful even though we didn't have a reservation, she made it very easy to get us a room. Breakfast is great.! Cleaning crew was great as well. The only disappointed part was the young man in the front desk, rude.. impatient and unacceptable. Made it a uncomfortable visit..

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during NBA All Star Weekend. I should have read reviews before coming, because then I would have chosen somewhere else to stay. The room looked rather average, but the TV was probably only a 25 inch with very fuzzy picture quality and not even a normal selection of channels. They didn't have the regular ESPN channel! Not saying that every hotel needs HD-quality but nowadays, people expect a lot better. The fridge wouldn't keep anything cold and one side of the room didn't have an electric charge, no matter how many times we tried to plug anything in. The room itself just didn't feel clean, which is always gross. ||||As for the bathroom, make sure to bring your own toiletries. While this hotel did provide the normal shampoo, lotion, and soap bar, it felt like the shampoo and lotion were watered down so much that it barely felt usable. Also, the bathroom door would not shut without slamming it into the frame. It's only saving grace was that the shower head was actually high enough for taller people, like us. We were only provided 2 large towels, 1 hand towel, and 4 face towels, which seemed clean enough, but we would have liked a few more large towels. However, with the place seeming rather shady and right near/in Compton, we opted for the hotel staff to not enter the room during our stay.||||The breakfast area had normal coffee, bagels, cereal, old fruit, and juice. Except I couldn't get any juice or cereal to come out of their containers so we just went to the Starbucks next door every morning instead. Also the walls of the rooms are paper thin, and the hotel put us on the ground floor right near the freeway, which did not make me feel any safer as random people were up at all times of the night outside. ||||Lastly, with such a shady place I guess I understand why they do this, but I did not like the fact that you had to pay for your entire stay before you even saw your room. Most hotels ask for you to pay at checkout. If we hadn't already paid, we would definitely have tried to find another hotel. ||||Overall, I could care less about the place being outdated, but when I choose a hotel, I look for breakfast options, and this didn't cut it. I also expect outlets to work, and this room didn't function properly. I also assume the bathroom doors would close properly, but alas, they did not. I would never stay here again, not even if they fixed the place.

The property had changed owners and names since I had last been in the area. They had redecorated the lobby and some of the rooms too. The place was clean and overall quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is a Starbucks next door to the motel. It isn't really priced like a budget property and I think they are high for the location and they type of motel it is. They do serve a breakfast in the lobby with some cereals, juice drinks, coffee, tea and a waffle maker. I would stay here again if I found myself in the general area without another affordable alternative. ||I didn't find the staff to be very helpful or pleasant. They made many mistakes with our room and the charges and it was difficult to get the errors worked out. Their attitude was a problem for us. I would give them a poor rating in the service area.

I was very pleased with this establishment, It is clean and comfortable! The staff it very pleasant and most helpful. A little about my story....for this trip I booked a two night stay (online through Priceline) at an establishment less than adequate. Basically it was filthy and horrible. We left after 30 minutes at the other place we booked. We just could not stay. We found the Roadway Inn through a suggestion/recomendation from friends. We had no reservation at the Rodeway Inn and we were in need of decent rooms that night. The staff was awesome. We needed two rooms and they did their best to place the rooms as closely as possible plus we were able to stay in the same rooms for both nights without moving to another room even though we had no reservations! In addition we had Continental Breakfast that included a Belgian Waffle you made when you were ready to eat it (during breakfast hours naturally)! Fresh juice and great coffee! (They had other breakfast stuff too but those were my favs!) It may not be the Hilton but I give it 10 gold stars because of the value and great customer service and care they provide! When traveling to this area again we would come back to the Rodeway in a heartbeat! Thanks guys & gals! Keep up the great work!

Very quiet and calm. Everything's clean and spotless. Although it is a bit pricy, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The free ice and the on hand laundry service are great. Only wish that the rooms were more spacious. Easy access parking is also a plus.
