Willow Street Wood-Fired Pizza - New American restaurant in Los Gatos - 20 S Santa Cruz Ave, USA

We were seated in the patio with our dog. Nice weather outside. Friendly staff. We ordered the garlic flat bread and artichoke dip for appetizers, Margarita pizza and mushroom pizza with pistachios for main course. Also ordered a mini veg pesto pizza with homemade lentil soup. The food was fantastic and we all loved it. Will definitely go again.

Lunch on a Saturday afternoon at their patio is literally the best thing ever! The ambiance inside is also delightful. The food is obviously delicious- highly recommend their pesto mushroom pasta, garlic bread, and wood fired mahi mahi.

The pizza was great and fresh! Amazingly thin sourdough crust. We also ordered a sharable spicy tots. They were yummy, crispy too. A good place to try. The waiter gave us update almost every 5 minutes about the order. The ambience is also good. It’s located in Los Gatos downtown and there is exclusive parking behind the plaza.

I arrived early & grabbed a beer last Sunday waiting for 2 other friends. When I asked the young Hostess if I can have a table that was near the entrance she said “no problem”! I later noticed that she seated another group on the SAME exact table that she had promised to me!! Idiotic move cause later when I asked she said “we don’t reserve tables and it’s 1st come 1st serve”! Annoyed I asked her why she did not bother to tell me that cause instead of the bar; I could have moved to the table ! As for food, the place has good pie and that’s why it’s worth the trip! The front desk however is staffed with stoners who are unable to manage the simplest requests. In fact, I had to walk to the kitchen counter to flag our waiter to place the pizza order!

Came for a $$ dinner but left with a highly satisfied, more expensive undertaking. All while eating out of doors with many dogs in attendance (ours included). Highly recommend the combination of (fiery) calamari steak and the tomato caprese (a very restrained use of balsamic makes this ever so slightly sweet, hence the perfect combo). Calamari was tender & juicy - a rarity. Sorry, we finished the calamari and nearly did in all the tomato caprese before thinking of photos. The pizzas were good - really lovely soft, not-too-thick dough. We had the wild boar (excellent) and mushroom w pistachio nuts (Interesting combo but not enough mushroom coverage) pizzas. Also had the salmon w arugula salad. Again, a very restrained approach with balsamic, coupled with sweet purple onions, made this salad quite appealing, despite the under-flavored salmon (chef please take note: a dash of salt wouldn't have hurt!) We had the blackberry w basil drink - quite refreshing The atmosphere at this place is decidedly California casual, and we really enjoyed feeling relaxed, even as we restrained our chippoo from taking too much notice of all the other pooches around. Wait staff was reasonably attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. Would return, and recommend.

Ordered vegetarian wood fired pizza. Pizza was really fresh and good. Corn ravioli in itself was good and but the extra corn on top made it a little more sweet!

They have a really good food. And the people who work there are very nice and treat others super well.

I visited Willow St Pizza in Los Gatos and tried the Gorgonzola salad, which was mediocre; wouldn't order it again. The grilled cheese with tomato soup had a quick preparation, but the soup resembled marinara sauce, and the grilled cheese was unremarkable. I also sampled the vegetable pizza, and it was enjoyable, suggesting my initial choices might not have been the best. However, it's worth noting that the lack of patio service, with only take-out containers provided, led to excessive waste, impacting the overall experience. The overall experience was decent, earning it a 3/5 rating.
