Wow, very nice first 6 holes ! Unfortunately we had to stop play due to Lightening in the area. Looking forward to playing 9 more holes with my Rain Check. Staff were very professional and informative. The had food and drinks inside, nice clubhouse atmosphere. There was a beverage cart on the course; also very nice and professional, and they had alcohol to relax your golf swing !!
Great golf course. If you are only playing nine, try to play the back nine. More scenic, and fun.
Pleasant, beautiful, and peaceful place. I was invited to hit some golf balls on the driving range. Went to clubhouse and paid for a token. Took token to a small building near driving range and a machine filled a bucket of balls for me. Enjoyed hitting bucket of balls. Golf is not my game but I see some of its attractions. Pure pleasure when my shot went up and straight out. Good times!
One of the best layouts and well maintained public courses in Tennessee. A gem and a great value.

Course is good, not great. Staff sucks!!! Push us push us and push us. I came for a tournament and expected to have nothing but fun, charity tournament, but, some craptastic idiot in a closed in cart kept yelling at us and being rude. He needs to be dismissed. Especially since it wasn't us that was slow, we were held up by another group. My sincere hopes are we never have our tournament there ever again. Don't spend the money it's not worth the cost. And staff needs an attitude adjustment. Avalon is a superior course and staff is great!!!!
Everything about my experience here was 5 star!!! Course conditions, staff and people I met playing. The young gentleman, Coleman in the pro shop has a bright future ahead of him. Awesome to see his attitude and interaction with customers! Keep it up fella 👊! Can’t wait to get back!
