William Penn Bar & Restaurant - Bar & grill in Lebanon - 635 Cumberland St, USA

This is the real deal, casual and easy, a cozy corner bar and restaurant in an established neighborhood. The other patrons were sitting at the bar so we took a seat there too. The bar stools were comfortable and had good foot rests-an important feature for we short girls. We ordered four dogs; two with everything, and two plain. I have had the weirdest experience with "chili dogs." Most are more of a thin sauce with mystery mix made from Worcestershire sauce, mustard, spices, and meat you can't quite identify. These were clearly chili dogs. Mike doesn't skimp on the toppings, the quality of the dogs, or the conversation while seated at the bar. It was like having lunch with a dear friend. The atmosphere is industrial rustic in a good way and very clean. It was the perfect spot to stop in for a bite, and forget about the rush of the day for a while.

The owner Mike is one amazing person who cares about the community and the people in it and to me the food is outstanding and and for a customer like me I remember the William Penn restaurant and bar since I was very young and the hot dogs were awesome and so was the staff but Mike brang it a long way and does a excellent job and I respect Mike very much for all he does in the community and for the way he respect people and always honest with me and if I have a question or what to learn about something Mike will do his very best to answer my question for that I respect him and his staff at the William Penn restaurant and Bar

Excellent Old School Classic Chili Dogs...with Their Vintage Family Secret Chili Added on Top. This is a Must Try Place, Great Sweet Coca Cola from A Soda Jerk Type Place...and Big Screen TV, to Watch Penn State Play, on a Saturday !!! Great Place...Good Prices, Good Food and Great Family Feel to their Staff. It is A Must See and Do, sort of Place !!!

Amazing service and amazing food, prices are also really good value along with the very happy customer service. Still the same as 10 years ago which is a great thing!

The Penn is a place very dear to me as i have spent a lot of time there in the past year with my friends. I first went there right after i turned 21 and a year later it is still my go to bar. They’ve made many renovations to make the atmosphere even better than it already was! They have pool tables, a dart board, and they updated their TouchTunes. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced, the bathrooms were just renovated and were always kept decently clean. The service is also excellent. Every bartender and bouncer in there is awesome, and the owner is one of the nicest ladies in town.

Simply the best hotdogs around. With a secret sauce and hamburger you can't go wrong.

Corner diner with a welcoming atmosphere, and conversation. If your looking for a place to eat and have a good time, this is your place.
