Tonight was a special Channukkah celebration; this is an annual event. There was a variety of Jewish foods for dining, plus games and live entertainment. The Egan Center functions as an event center for concerts, boxing/wrestling tournaments, and organization's celebrations such as Federation of Native Arts and Craft show, ComiCon, and many convention style gatherings. Location is in the business center of downtown Anchorage. Accommodates large events. It has very easy access.
Great waiting place once you come off a cruise. There is plenty of seating, restrooms, etc. They hold luggage till 10pm. Shuttle services to the airport. Walk around downtown Anchorage for a bit while waiting to go to airport.
Very cool ..ending a cruise in Seward . Then bussed down to Anchorage..10 hour layover..so the cruise line put all our luggage in ballroom.. and guarded it.. then let us enjoy our day.. then a quick bus to the terminal for flight home..very good service and support for travelers.. . Bonus.... Great king salmon fishing 3 blocks away..
Great location! Well maintained, clean & beautiful facility. We were dropped off at the Egan convention by our cruise line after disembarking at Seward, as we had several hours to kill before our flight. The staff at the convention center were courteous and helpful. The restrooms were clean.
Bathrooms on the lower floor, clean, and quiet. Cruises will bus you here to wait for your plane. Lots to do in this area and lots of homeless.
Thursday night fights are cool but there should be a bathroom upstairs.
Worked the concession stand here at the fights, great time! Great fights! And God bless that Kelly!
What a great event center. A place for the community. Convenient location and beautiful space.
