Wilkerson Creek Park & Children's Playground was so worth the drive from Leesburg!! I was so impressed with this playground I had to share for anyone who doesn’t know about it! The entire thing is covered, artificial grass and soft rubber, gated all the way around, comfy shaded areas for parents to sit, equipment made out of a great material that’s not wood or metal, has a covered pavilion with picnic tables right next to it, and located in a beautiful area of The Villages! Love it!!!
When you visit The Villages you really feel like they thought of everything and this park is no exception. This is every parents dream:
No sand or mulch, just turf and rubber padding for the ground.
No open spaces for kids to run and get lost or into the street, there is a fence that surrounds the entire play structure.
No direct sunlight because the entire playground is covered, and the trees are perfectly planted to block shade on the many chairs they have for parents and children.
They have child sized chairs, musical flowers to bang around on, and you can see everything as a parent while sitting down and can rest assured your child is safe and having fun.
Even the playground is completely made of recycled plastic material so there is no wood that might scrape or give splinters.
We love this playground and love how close it is to the town square and shopping.
This little park is just so quiet and refreshing. The kids love it. It’s enclosed and very clean. Seats all around for parents to sit and relax.
Nice little park! It is shaded :) one of the gates was locked but the far side one was open!
Very cute little park. I appreciated the large amount of shade and the rubberized turf. Much safer for kids to take spills on!
Very small park w/ 1 small pavillion with 4 tables. There's also wooden ship enclosed with a wooden fence for ur keiki to play on.
OMG. I came 7 months ago and it was a cute little playground. But it is now pretty awesome. It is completely changed. Still a pirate theme playground, completely redone top to bottom and shade above playground installed. It is so much better now, and now it's always full of kids 💕
Peaceful as always. Love the Tuesday drum circle at the pavilion and the beautiful bit of nature hidden inside all the development.

Gourmet shoppe that is dog friendly! We purchased multiple olive oils, balsamic vinegars and a steak marinate (most of which are available to taste). Great selection of sauces and soup starters also. Great staff to assist while shopping.
Nice place. Live bands every day and beer huts on all four corners. Happy hour 2 for 1 drinks from 5-6. 70 and 80s music piped in on the sidewalks as you walk around (ZZ Top, Steely Dan).
Great place for a concert. Raised stage with great sounds.
There are both floor seating and raised seating both with comfortable chairs and direct on views of the show..
Our third show and we will be back for more
Beautiful theatre, very friendly attendants, acoustics were great! We saw Lonestar and it was a wonderful show with Christmas music included; made the show a nice touch.
Need a stocking stuffer? A gift for a friend or coworker? A nice nibble of chocolate for yourself? Or perhaps some ice cream?
Do yourself a favor, come visit Kilwin's and buy single pieces of chocolate dipped pretzels, marshmallows, Rice Krispies, o
Great place to visit, and from what I hear, live as well. Newest of the villages I find it a bit more advanced with construction and vendors. Worth checking out!
This is a great little town square area with plenty of places to eat and shop at. There is live music (free) every night starting around 5 pm. If you're in the area, stop by. There are also lots of special events going on. This is also dog friendly.
This is an amazing theater! It has a real southern feel with all the old barn antiques. The seats were very comfortable. They also sell beer so always a plus.
Love the pool bar. We live in the Southern end and wish we had this in our area. Food is very good, always comes out hot and the servers are very nice. Mackenzie is truly one of my personal favorites there.
The wings if you tell them crispy they wil
The Reveille Cafe is a roomy and comfortable breakfast and lunch restaurant. Their bar seating is even countertop height, which is a comfortable alternative to high top stools.
We really enjoyed our food. We had already eaten a small breakfast before
