It was a beautiful hotel. By far was the out door hot tub in the middle of winter. Amazing. Bring your own food and drink though it is very pricey. The other two water parks there is not enough chairs and tables for people.
Beautiful in the summer or winter! They have an amazing infinity pool for the summer and either way in your condo overlooking the lake and the hot tub is so relaxing and peaceful! The condos are spacious and equipped with most things you will need. The water park has different things to do though it is the smaller of the water parks there is still basketball leap pads and small slides with children's activities . There is a pricey concession stand that is very convenient Love it here!
Very quiet and secluded. If you want a quiet vacation with your family highly recommend Wilderness on The Lake. The pool isn't nearly as busy as the other parks. They have a beautiful indoor/outdoor hot tub that they just upgraded. I have a 4 year old and she loves the pool over there. There's kiddie slides, a bigger pool, leap frog for older kids and it's really nice to have that extra space in the room. Even just cooking a meal In the condo then going down to the pool really saves money and time (especially when you have a kid who wants to swim 24/7). The condo also has laundry in the unit love that! Plus a jacuzzi with 2 fireplaces. I've been going to the dells with my family since I was my daughter's age and On The Lake is our favorite spot to say.
Loved our massive room, when we arrived it was super easy check in,the room was really clean and had everything necessary for a great stay. Love how there's a boat taxi to other water parks near by. And also shuttles to all areas during the day. Most importantly the kids had a blast and that's the only thing that matters. Will definitely be back again!
We stayed in a cabin near wild west over christmas. The wilderness on the lake indoor water park is great for young kids as it has small slides and obstacle courses. Hot tub and pool area for larger kids and adults.
got a 3bdr condo. onsweet jacuzze tub didnt work. exhaust fan didnt work. tv in another bdrm didnt work. other large tub spit out mold when jets turned on. toilet water ran in main bath unless shake handle
The issues I have here never should happen. Breadstick behind a couch. . Knobs on the faucets don't show hot and cold lol. Hot tub had kids running back and forth without parents. Kids walking into the hot tub without parents and some kids under 5 without life vests. Dirty fans. 400 per day and you have to go to the wilderness resort for any arcade, basically everything isn't at wilderness on the lake drive everyday you want the candy shop, any of the holiday drinks, ice cream, anything you got attached to from visiting the wilderness resort. Why would anyone pay more to get less. Only actual improvement is the size of the rooms but bathrooms are for midgets
Experience was good although the security night guy was, well, I felt he racially profiled us along with the older man at the front desk. He came to our door on new years eve due to the music being loud which I get cause it was new years but we were on our way out to the new years extravaganza which by the way was super cool!👌 My brother opened the door and he acted like Mr Big guy with his arms crossed and said music was too loud. My brother respectfully told him we'll turn it down but the security guy came back and said you didn't have to say it like that while pointing the finger in right in his face. Mean while we met a couple who said they had 3 speakers going with music and didn't get any complaint.. which also were Caucasian. hmmm. They're was also an incident where my son was running (which btw hes 13yr about 80lbs)in from the cold just off the shuttle after the new years party and the older man at the desk asked him to stop running because the stuff behind the desk shakes... while I seen kids being kids running when I arrived. This was my first visit here and I expected a little more friendliness from your front desk staff.. Unless he was crabby because he and your security guy had to work new years eve? I don't know. I get people have bad days but they both could've used a different approach about each of the situations. 2 🌟 stars only because some of your front staff killed it especially the Night security guard. Otherwise a very cool place from the room, to waterparks, the shuttle service (which btw the man and woman were so Awesome)and the new years bash event!
