This was our second trip here and my wife and I had a blast. This was our first time visiting Soaky Mountain as it wasn’t open when we came last time. The resort shuttles you from park to park and doesn’t take long to arrive, or it is a short walk to each destination. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We were able to check in at 1pm vs. the normal 4pm time without paying for early check in (hint). Another tip we stayed in the Stone Lodge, I would recommend the River Lodge as it has the indoor water park attached. Especially if you’re traveling with small children.

We love visiting every year. We had 2 adults, 3 kids and 1 under 2. Was plenty of room to come and sleep, as we did activities all day, we didn't need much room, and for the price we paid it was perfect

Made a quick trip up for a few days. Everything is made to be super easy and convenient. The staff are all helpful. The beds are small to be queen size beds and the rooms a little small, but you're not in there much. Definitely recommend a stay.

It was a bad experience for us. First I didn’t know there was nothing to do at this hotel. Everything is at the river lodge location so you have to drive across the street to do anything but pay the same price. Second we wanted to order room dining for dinner and we got no menu so we went to the front desk and was told she “couldn’t find the menu sorry” and didn’t assist further and ignored my boyfriend. So the river lodge gets everything and we can’t even get room dining at the stone hill lodge. The pools close early at 8 which is too early most resorts do 10. It’s still light outside until 9:30. Do not pay to book here if the river lodge is open. It’s waste of money. Everything you can do is at the river lodge which is all the way across the street.

Very clean! Love everything about our room and the resort as a whole! Staff is very polite and helpful. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and my family. I would give more stars if I could!

Not good, especially if you have anyone with accessibility challenges. We were so far away from the lobby/transportation and my husband uses a scooter. There’s no bell service assistance! I never expected the room to be so far away, and no luggage assistance. Housekeeping was deplorable- we took numerous pictures on our arrival and even when they sent a housekeeper to “reclean” the day we checked in, other than picking up a dirty diaper off of our patio chair, the housekeeper never vacuumed the room. We entered and the floors were gross with crushed candy, grass, leaves and bugs. The shower floor was gross- dirty and pieces of old soap or some sort of bits/pieces were all over. We needed an accessible room and found the shower seat half largely separated from the wall and was unusable. A woman named Brandy (guest services phone person) was incredibly rude and when I asked her to try to be more courteous she said she had “a bunch of calls” she needed to answer- no concern for our room problems just mad she had a lot of callers. All around it was a service failure, and worst of all no one seemed to really care. They offered to move us to a different room but we were literally crawling into bed- hours after they knew of the issues- inappropriate. That should have been done immediately at check in when we reported the issues, not hours later! Location was its only saving Grace. We won’t return to that hotel but maybe the one across the street.

I stayed at the Stone Hill Lodge during 4th of July week. I was here primarily for a dance competition that my daughters were competing in. I was expecting a less enjoyable experience than Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, considering my room cost was less than half (about $250 a night) for a family of five than that of the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. The Stone Hill Lodge exceeded my expectation in most categories and I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area. Room- My room had two queen beds and a pull out couch, which was adequate for my family of five. The room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, which was adequate as well. The coffee in the room was terrible quality, so I bought my own special filters to get some Dunkin Coffee each morning. I am an early riser and I don't understand why some hotels don't have a coffee jug available from 5-8 AM. It is a small convenience that early risers really appreciate. Otherwise, you only can get coffee from 8 AM to 11 AM at a restaurant right next to the convention center. As for the room, I found it a tad narrow for the needs of my family of five. My two girls dance and their dance stuff takes up A LOT of room. There is limited counter top space and if the room was 2 feet wider, it would make a ton of difference. Also, the bathroom is tiny and has no sink. The sink is located outside the room. I will say that the room was clean and housekeeping was very gracious whenever we needed toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. Location- The Stone Hill Lodge is the venue closest to the Sevierville Convention Center. This Convention Center is immaculately clean, super spacious, and has a great food court. In terms of things to do, there is a shuttle bus that runs at least every 15 minutes to the River Lodge which has a fantastic indoor water park and a great outdoor water park. We didn't visit Salamander Springs, the outdoor waterpark at our lodge. It seemed designed more for younger children. The indoor water park was excellent. The longest we waited was about 20 minutes. Best ride was the water roller coaster. The Lake Wilderness water Park was excellent as well. Great layout with tons of Cabanas. The park had a great lazy river, fast water slides and was good for two hours of entertainment. We didn't try out any of the activities in the Adventure Forest as there was so much to do in the area. Dollywood Water Park and Theme Parks were 15-20 minutes away. Tons of restaurants and activities within 10-15 minutes. I didn't eat much at the hotel as there were great options like The Diner, Cracker Barrel and Bellacino's Pizza and Grinders. Great hikes of the Smokey Mountains are less than 45 minutes away. White Water Rafting also only 45 minutes away. Service- Everyone in the hotel was super friendly and helpful. I accidently left my wallet at the front desk when getting change for the washing machines (bring quarters) and the lady at the front desk tracked me down. Housekeeping staff always let me get extra cups, toilet paper, etc. Elevators worked quickly and efficiently to get from one place to another. BONUS- the gym, which was located super close to me. room, is top quality. Top of the line treadmills, tons of weight equipment, and even a pull up bar are part of the gym. I really appreciated this amenity. All in all, this is a great value for what they charge for a room. If the room was a drop wider and they had early morning coffee, it would be a 5 star experience. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We happend upon this place looking on Expedia because it had a water slide (we were on a road trip and our son was ready for a pool). I'm glad we picked this place. We stayed at the stone hill lodge part (right by the convention center). They have shuttles to the main building with the water park and big arcade. The on-site pool and slide were good too. The beds were great. We had stayed at other chain hotels on our road trip and my back would hurt in the morning. I had the best night sleep here and I felt great when I woke up. We are so glad we stayed.
