Sons researched good eggs Benedict and found this place for Mother's Day. We came back this time for an early birthday brunch bc we liked it so much.
Northwest Lox Benedict is my favorite; had mine with the hollandais sauce on the side. $18. Younger had the Sidekick -- scrambled eggs with green chilies and cheddar cheese -- comes with guacamole, toast, signature garlic mashed potato cakes. $16 Elder had La Cabana -- see video -- we all had a taste and it was delicious; it's only served on weekends during brunch.
No reservations are possible so be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes when it's the busy weekend brunch rush.
Parking is free on the streets.
There are some some pretty significant stairs to climb.
Cute home style breakfast spot. Many scramble options to choose from. There’s also early bird special before 9am for scrambles and mimosa. Large portion of food and good flavor.
The place is cute. Reminds me of Hobbies, but Hobbies has fresh food. The bread pudding wasn't good, you could taste it was sitting in the refrigerator overnight plus it was microwaved. The Veggies egg Benedict was very tasty with a kick. The knife that was given to me had rust on it so I didn't use it. The steep steps are not made for handicapped.
The fresh baked cinnamon rolls (weekends only) are so delicious and comforting! Worth the trip alone, but I also had the classic eggs benedict, which was fantastic! I loved the little potato-patty thing that comes with it - it was like a crispy, garlicky little bit of mashed potatoes. The place itself is very cute but a little cramped, as it appears to be a house converted into a restaurant and parking might be a little tricky; I did get a table for two quickly on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. Can't wait until next time!
This was a delicious brunch. Their fruits and vegetables are well seasoned. The overall meal was very light and did not have a reliance on fats to make it delicious. The flavor of the food spoke for itself.
Try the royal rumble scramble! The potato cake things were also very interesting and good. Coffee is from a local place and delicious.
This is a cozy little restaurant. Definitely has that quintessential Seattle feel. The menus says the eggs Benedict is their specialty so my wife and I ordered that. It was great. The potato cakes are a delicious twist on morning potatoes too. Come check this place out for a pleasant breakfast one day.
Such a cute little restaurant on a peaceful neighborhood street in Ballard. I've only tried their breakfast items and every single one is exceptionally tasty! They happily make dietary adjustments without throwing a fuss. They have indoor and outdoor seating but very limited outdoor seating with I think just 2 tiny tables in the front for guests. This restaurant is literally inside a house and you would not know it without looking for it. My favorites are their South of the Border breakfast items. So fresh and yummy and you can tell that they use quality ingredients. I just wish they had an espresso machine to order London Fogs with my breakfast! Feels good to support a local restaurant that does a really good job in satisfying their customers!
The Mac and cheese was very dissapointing. It tasted as if the flour wasn't all the way in cooperated when they made the roux for the cheese sauce, making the texture of the Mac and cheese grainy. The Mac and cheese also tasted off, since the flour wasn't incorporated fully, and it just wasn't great. The roasted garlic potato cakes had so much garlic and salt that they were inedible. My boyfriend and I love garlic, however it was too much even for us. The cinnamon roll was dissapointing because even though it was freshly baked, it was just sitting in a glass cabinet, getting stale. We saw the waitress go over and grab it and bring it to us, not even heating it up or anything. Kind of made me feel uneasy that the food was just sitting uncovered in what was essentially a china cabinet The frosting was a sticky, solid mess and there was way too much, easily double what the picture shows. Overall this was just a dissapointing brunch.

The only drip coffee worth drinking! So delicious! It was thick, bold and flavorful. All-too-often, coffee shops, even well-known ones, give you watered down poor-tasting coffee but Santo did not. They exceeded my expectations. The environment was gr
What a discovery. We pretty much came across this place on a quick Google search for dessert near me and boy this place stands out. I highly recommend their Eclairs burrito. The waffle and crepes are equally good.

The Usual is a modern, yet cozy coffee shop. I enjoy the pastries and cirniki. The high ceilings make it feel bigger than it is. The coffees are good and I enjoyed the seasonal special. Seating can be limited during busy times, so try to visit durin

Not much downtown for breakfast, but this little restaurant is GREAT! Omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and cereals are available here. Had a 3 egg omelet with sourdough toast. Very good. I'm not a coffee drinker (sorry), so I can't speak to their coffe
This coffee shop is one of the few that opens early in the morning. They make very cute latte art and the latte itself tasted amazing too! I got hazelnut flavored latte. My husband also enjoyed his dripped coffee as well. Glad that we stopped by and

This is a super neat hidden gem! I went here once in a date, and once with my boys. It was tough to keep an eye on my eight year old to keep him from breaking an antique phone! I want to visit once more just by myself so I can take my time looking at
Super cute shop on the 3rd floor of the Pacific Place Mall that features handmade items from independent vendors both local and further away. It is the sister store of Bezel & Kiln on the 2nd floor. The employees are very friendly and conversational.
