Wienery - Hot dog restaurant in Minneapolis - 414 Cedar Ave South, USA

The burger was juicy, and had a perfect crust, and for only $6! Hand-cut fries were spot on, crispy on the outside, and perfectly creamy on the inside. The Wienery is a classic West Bank spot.

Love this West Bank establishment. Have eaten here frequently for many years. Owned and staffed by great people. Highly recommend the Steaming Pile and West Bank Burger!

Food was great. Drove 30 miles just to get some good polish. Service was amazing, very nice guy working. Only reason for 2 star atmosphere is due to it being dirty. Lots of dust buildup. Will go back for sure tho!

Best diner in town, there's almost nothing like it. Still run by Pat and his son. Always only has one employee who takes your order then makes it 30 seconds later so you can do any substitution or combination. I get the burger Manhattan style which is a hot dog topping for instance. Prices can't be beat, even cheaper than Five Guys. Watch the Diners Drive-Ins & Dives episode, Guy Fieri somehow knew this spot and came thru back in the day and it's still exactly the same. As time goes on there's fewer spots like these so you really gotta appreciate it and tip well!

Amazing food! I would definitely go here again. I recommend it to everyone stopping by Minneapolis or needing a quick meal. Please be aware of fake one-star reviews. There was a tiktok video uploaded in an attempt to make the owner look bad, and now his fans are leaving unfair one-star reviews. I was treated with utmost kindness and i can personally attest that everyone here was kind. I bring my kids here as well after they get out of school, and I've never had an issue.

Great experience. Food was great. Atmosphere gets 2 stars due to it just being dirty. Layers of dust everywhere. Will go back, but hopefully they clean it up a bit

This is the third time I come to the US and the Wienery's hot dogs are probably the best ones I've had. The owner is a very nice person and everything in general is nice. I cannot recommend this place enough. You should come!

Very tasty menu choices. Small town feel in a big city. We were in town from South Dakota and would definitely come back. Our daughter even tried to convince them to come to our town lol. Highly recommend. Daughter was able to eat vegetarian too!
