Widmeyer Memorial Park - Park in Hancock - , USA

Great park. Three different jungle gyms with 7 or 8 different slides. Two of the three big sets are fairly new with good equipment. My two-year-old tester was in heaven. Three different sets of swings, multiple covered picnic areas, big grassy well-kept fields, and a creek running along one side. I think there's even public bathrooms, although we didn't try them. Great place to stop for a picnic or just to let the rugrats run around for a bit.

Nice playground with plenty of options of different equipment for multiple ages. Pretty little stream you can go and explore too. Lots of picnice table and other benches to sit on. We brought a picnic which was nice to enjoy in the space. There was a men's bathroom but couldn't find an open women's bathroom which was frustrating. I would definitely return if in the area.

Hold off for short break on my motorcycle. Had some nice shady trees to park under, and had a nice restroom. Also had a public library in the park grounds.

Nice playgrounds. Big pavillions that can be reserved. There's volleyball, basketball, and tennis. There's a big grassy field and benches.

I love the creek here! It has my great Uncle featured in the memorial banners. Got some photos!

Even though we reserved our pavilion, and it was clearly posted, I had to pick up lots of trash all around the trash can area, trash can was close to full anyway,....had to remove a passed out 20 y/o from our pavilion and over all the place was dirty. I was disappointed. They had a playground near the pavilion. And the bathrooms were a hike up the hill, not great for old people. So we drove to the restrooms. They were not maintained very well. And the creek that ran along side our pavilion was nasty. Had scum of sorts laying on top of it.

Beautiful little park. Nicely maintained playground equipment and facilities. Cute stream running through makes for a great photo opp as well. Restrooms are available.
