I found the Wicked Spoon very underwhelming for the price. They had a great selection and the restaurant was beautiful. However, there were some items that were either hit or miss. Price for an adult is $47 for all day brunch Mon - Fri and then $54 for all day brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The staff was kind and helpful, but they could be more attentive with taking the dirty/empty plates away. Overall I would give this place a 3. It was meh to me. Food quality needs to be more consistent.
A lot of people rave about this being the best buffet in Las Vegas, but I just don't see the appeal. We waited in line for over an hour on a Monday morning. There is a huge selection of food, which means that there is something for everyone. But, the quality just isn't there. At $60 a plate, I expected much more. Service was average and disconnected. My drink was empty for quite some time and the server was not engaging. This is probably a great buffet if you get it as a comp or if you have enough status to be in the VIP line. My own experience, however, is that it's not worth the price if you have to pay, or the time if you have to wait in line.
If this is the best buffet in Vegas right now - judging by our Friday lunch experience, that’s a very sad statement to process. Wait was an excruciating 2 hours from joining the end of the line to getting started. Service was ok - wait staff were tired. Temper and patience seemed to be thin all around, with patrons in shouting matches with staff. All of that would have been OK if the food was like the paradise on earth experience that Vegas buffets were known for. This is where the falling short was felt the sharpest. The spread is thinner at your neighborhood upscale Asian buffet. There was a sprinkling of interesting items - crab legs, lamb, pot roasts. Could not find the seafood forks. Only a handful of desserts made an impression. Ambience closer to a dining hall than an upscale restaurant. Not the $60 per head lunch experience I was expecting. I’d suggest skipping the experience and going to one of the many sit down restaurants in the neighborhood. If you are vegan / vegetarian - don’t bother. You’ll have $60 worth of samosas and a handful of other vegetarian options.
A fancy buffet in the middle of Las Vegas city center. Wide selection of food. The deserts are the best. Snow crab legs are jumbo but not always fresh. Price at $59 per person. We waited for 30 min to get in.
So good we came here twice during our Vegas visit. Amazing buffet, something for everyone. Worth the price. Long line but it moves fast. Every employee we came across was very nice and helpful. Enjoyed it so much, we brought our family back two days later. Will definitely be back.
Compared to the cheaper buffet like the Excalibur, this has much better food. However, the longer line and wait will turn anyone off and feel not worth it. We got in line at 9:45am and waited an hour. But overall, $60 with all those options and definitely tasted a lot better than a cheaper place will beat a sit down restaurant where you will definitely spend more.
Great buffet for the price. We went around 10am and wait for table was only 15 minutes. Selection of food was really good. I really loved all the different breakfast items, especially French toast with berry sauce/compote. Mac and cheese was also really good. Their dessert area is stocked full of delicious options but we could only try so many so will have to go back next time we’re in Vegas!
Excellent experience at the wicked spoon. Friendly service and tons of fresh food. An amazing variety for pretty much anyone. We went when they opened thinking we'd only get breakfast items, but even in the morning lunch items were plentiful!
