Wholly Smokin’ - Barbecue restaurant in Florence - 150 S Dargan St, USA

Came here on a business dinner last night. It’s hard to find a place that does brisket and ribs and I am very glad that I found this place. Their ribs were perfectly tender, and their brisket wasn’t short of near perfect. Their Mac and cheese was amazing but my favorite was the beans. Actually got a 2nd serving of the beans because they were so good!

Best brunch in Florence. Great staff. Happy hour is excellent during the week. Deviled eggs are phenomenal.

Awesome spot! Has it all with great service in an awesome location. Ordered to-go and crushed their awesome deviled eggs in the uhaul on the way south!

We had the pulled pork nachos, the large pulled pork plate, and the combo 1/2 rack of ribs and burnt ends. We both chose collard greens and a loaded potato salad. The collards were well seasoned, the potatoes was more like a regular potatoes salad with sour cream etc. I thought that it had too much sour cream and not enough cheese, bacon bits and butter. The nachos were pretty good but basically nachos coveted with cheese sauce topped off with a generous amount of pulled pork. Corn and black bean salsa and sour cream were in cups on the side. The burnt ends were tender and delicious, the ribs very dry, hardly any smoke ring, i had to add some bbw sauce. The pulled pork was moist and had some flavor. We were offered two sauces with the pulled pork, a SC mustard based and what a. Regular bbq sauce. Neither were impressive. GREAT customer service. I would likely return for the burnt ends.

We are visiting the town and wanted to eat at a local place. When we walked in there was nobody in the front. It was a while before the host showed up maybe she was busy in the back and it seemed she left the southern hospitality in the back too. I would have knocked down a star but the service from the waitress and the food was so good they gained it back. I definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Florence SC.

I ordered online. 2 awesome burgers and a brisket sandwich. When I got to the store the woman working the front desk was extremely rude and had issues with me wanting to pay for extra sauces. I took the food with me to work. Once we started eating we realized the burgers weren’t cooked all the way. One of them being completely inedible. I call the store to tell them this had happened and they told me the only way they could do anything is if I brought the burgers back to the store and showed them proof. I told them I had pictures and couldn’t leave work to do this and they told me they couldn’t help me any further. I am highly disappointed in the experience because I truly do enjoy their food but this is just crazy. I wasn’t even able to eat the food. The pictures show both burgers were like this. They were still cool in the middle making them completely inedible. 0/10 Do Not Recommend.
