This was an amazing coffee shop located on 11th Street in Rock Island! The customer service was great! Very friendly, courteous staff! The owner was very welcoming! On the plus side; they have a large variety of drinks to try. The coffee was really good and the Chicken&Waffle sandwich was so delicious. Very accommodating for children as well, with outdoor seating if you choose. I would highly recommend this cozy coffee shop if you're in the area!
The young woman behind the counter was very sweet and directed me to their holiday favorites when asked for a recommendation. The wholly grind sandwiches were unavailable at the time, so I can't comment on that. However, the coffee is fantastic and I love that they use coffee in their ice cubes to prevent it from getting watery!!!
My fiancée and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wholly Grinds and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the hospitable service staff to the mouthwatering food, everything was just perfect. The star of the show was undoubtedly the wholly waffle breakfast sandwich. This culinary masterpiece was a heavenly combination of fluffy waffles, sausage, perfectly cooked eggs, and gooey melted cheese. The sandwich had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that made each bite even more enjoyable. It was the perfect way to start the day and I can't wait to have it again. The coffee was good, but I have to admit that it was not the absolute best I have ever had. Nevertheless, it was still a quality cup of coffee and I enjoyed it with my breakfast sandwich. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was perfect, and for that, I am truly grateful. Overall, I would highly recommend Wholly Grinds to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast/coffee place. The quality of the food and the service was outstanding, and I can't wait to return. Five stars!
My family who lives in IL discovered this place and brought us for treats. The owners are amazing and treated us like family. Highly recommend and will be sure to be back next time we get to town to visit.
I was returning home via Highway 67 after running an errand in Milan and came across Wholly Grinds on the way. I hadn't stopped for a Saturday morning tea or hot beverage yet in the day, so on a whim I decided to stop here. I really like this area of Rock Island, primarily because Alfano's Pizza is close by. What better way to get to know this part of the Quad Cities better than stopping for a hot beverage and relaxing for a bit. The interior of the coffee shop is pretty small. There's only a small high top bar that can seat two or three people, three of four high top tables that can seat 3-4, and a small table in the corner which, now that I think about it, is probably intended for children. At the time it was the only table that was open and I didn't otherwise notice the chairs were probably a bit small for someone such as myself (I stand about 6' 3"). Oh well, I wasn't uncomfortable and nobody complained. While the dining area is small, it is very new and clean. Red rectangular ceramic tiles line the floor with corrugated steel placed on the exterior of the customer side of the prep area. The overhead contains a drop ceiling that appears to have been recently installed - it looks really sharp, what with the red supports contrasting with the 2 foot square tiles. Dark wood paneling and white painted brick make up the walls in the prep area and remainder of the dining area, with large plate windows lining most of the space along the tables opposite the counter. It's all sharp and new looking - I really like it! I spoke with a few of the baristas behind the counter, who helped me settle on a tea. I ended up choosing a jasmine green with honey, which they soon handed to to me. Their tea is made by a company called tea forte. I'd never had them before, but I thought they were pretty good. After the water cooled down a bit and I steeped my bag a few minutes, I gave it a try. It's smooth like I'd expect a good jasmine green tea to be with floral notes in the background. While I sat and read some things on my phone, I got to chatting with Kim, who had opened the shop with one of her sons just 90 days ago. We talked about the area and their long journey to getting the shop developed and running. We also talked a bit about the Quad Cities, pizza, and other things. She was really nice and genuinely interested in making the coffee shop work in this area. I hope Kim and her family keep Wholly Grinds around for a long time. The shop is small and intimate - quiet enough that I could see coming back here by myself to enjoy a good book or do some work for a while, or just hang out for a bit with a friend or two. If you live close by, you should do yourself a favor and stop by. Thanks, Wholly Grinds!
I reached out to WHOLLY Grinds for a small catering event and Dylaan was amazing in getting everything needed for the events. Everyone was incredibly happy with the spread. I made sure to get my own drink for the day and the cold brew with flavored cold foam and COFFEE ICE CUBES was the best! Make sure to try the WHOLLY bread or waffles, you won't be disappointed. Service is so friendly and everything is very affordable - we will 100% be back!
Perfection. I love waffles. I love coffee. I love cinnamon. I got a cinnamon bun frappe and a waffle with cinnamon butter. Was not disappointed.

I love going to this brewery. Great beers, great bartenders and great music. Iâve only been here a few times, but I think the usual playlist is metal/hard rock, which I love and rarely hear at a brewery. The beers taste fantastic and could be the b

I trail run here regularly, and itâs never repetitive or boring with the seasons changing. Itâs one of the most beautiful places to visit in the autumn or winter because of the fall foliage and snow cover. For trail running, itâs the perfect
Beautiful center. Wonderful people that are there to help. They set up a free Thanksgiving meal for anyone, it was a great time volunteering with handing out meals. I will be volunteeting there more!
Amazing green space along the Mississippi River. The space includes a small playground for children. There is also a great band shell which is used throughout the summer. Well tended flower gardens add a splash of color throughout the park!
I have been going to this gem of a restaurant for years. All the food is cooked to order, and all homemade. Everything on the menu is amazing, but my most favorite is the veggie platter. I always get mashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens, black-e
