If you are not familiar with Whole Foods, it is worth a visit! Quality products are there to choose from in every department. The produce is top quality and conveniently displayed near the front of the store. They have a salad/entree bar area with fresh soups, good-for-you main dishes, and spectacular Drake's macaroni and cheese, best comfort food I've ever tasted. Some items are costlier than elsewhere, but top quality is almost always worth a bit more. There are also bargains for the savvy shopper.

My boyfriend recommended that I come here to buy some delicious wine and cheese. You know I wasn't disappointed, went back it was great.

The produce needs a better rotation system to ensure freshness. Overall, this visit was a letdown. The poor service, coupled with overpricing and stale produce, makes it hard to justify another visit to this specific location. Good selection of quality, organic items as well as cooked food and produce. A bit pricier than ither stores but well worth it.

Very good location. Awesome selections of meat, fruits, vegetables and organic produce. Walking distance to downtown Redwood City, this whole foods market makes it one of the most convenient grocery stores and markets in the downtown area. Highly recommend this store to visitors and the Redwood City San Carlos residents.

Whole foods is an upscale market. This location offers an excellent assortment of prepared foods including bakery, taqueria and deli sandwiches. The best feature in my opinion is the pizza oven and bar. Who doesn't love pizza by the slice and beer? The store is inviting with a self-serve salad bar and extensive hot foods bar with soups and premade salads. Only downside is price. Be prepared to pay premium price.

Hours says until 10pm. I went in at 7pm and they told me I couldn’t return the Amazon item because their returns was closed. Post your hours so I don’t waste a trip!

The staff have a “could care less” attitude and the quality of the produce is rock-bottom, yet the prices are highest ever and the lines are longest of any grocery store. No excuses, no apologies, no trying to do better. Please get a grip on you customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. April 4, 2023: A quick update 10 months after my original post: Not only has the service and quality not improved, or the lines become any shorter, now I can add a lack of shopping carts and baskets to list of shortcomings. You now have to scavenge the parking lot for carts or look under cash area for baskets! Perhaps they were going to introduce full on self-service but they forgot to announce!
