Whittier Narrows Disc Golf - Disc golf course in South El Monte - 622 Santa Anita Ave, USA

This is my home course. There are 27 basket’s. Playing on weekdays is better then the weekends, the park is less crowded with patrons using the park not playing disc golf. If you do play on the weekends play early in the morning.

It's been quite a long time since I've played which used to be my home course along with Tim Salinski(sic) After reading these reviews makes me want to leave this land of entrapment and play all the old courses, La Mirada, El Dorado, and of course where it all began with" Steady Ed Hendricks"

Had a good time. Only played half due to time constraints. Watch for gopher holes in some spots. Gets a little busy on the weekend. Parking is $7 on Saturday and Sunday but ticket is good at parking in other lots across the street at Lake. Also has playgrounds and picnic areas.

Good times kinda bumpy but fun

Just played in their weekly tournament on Monday. Previously played at 3pm+/- it has just been moved to Mondays at 9am. Great group of Golfers playing at this new time. Bigger turnout than expected (which is alway$ fun). Come on out and Rattle some Chains.

Very nice park. Alot of room for the whole family.

Not bad at all. This is my first course to play in Cali after moving here from Texas and it's the closest one to me. Wide open course/park trails and not, many critical hazards. There's lots of parking (free right now during the week but $7 on the weekend- however there is free limited public parking outside of the park directly adjacent to it alongside the north side of the park). One of two children's playground is closed but there's a really nice walk path that goes around most of the park for a nice casual scenic stroll. The water fountains all seem to be working and the bathrooms are open during regular hours. The park ranger closes the gate at sunset and give or take so you have to show up before that to gain access to the parking lot otherwise you can park on side street and enter through one of the side entrance on foot. BTW, across the street there's another really nice regular park that has nothing to do with the disc golf side if you're looking for something before or after that's more family-oriented or more traditional as far as Park goes(turns out they have paddle boats and a pond but they may start charging soon they weren't last time I checked). Every time I go to play disc golf I notice that the other park across the way is also always really busy.. more so than the disc golf one actually... I'll definitely be back.. ;)
