There are a myriad of trails, not all are marked, not a lot of places for panoramic photos but we enjoyed nature's beauty while visiting this & other parking areas.

Haven't been there in years. Brought back memories. Great spot.

Very nice picnic areas, good restrooms. Hiking trails pretty well marked, the ones I used were very easy.

This area is great for picnics and right now there is water flowing down Madera Creek. It also a great spot for bird watching.

Had fun on the mini hike we did. Interesting rocks all along the path and river.

Nice picnic area. Great trails. Some short paths are paved so if you wanted to bring a stroller you could do a nice stroll. Benches along the paths. Picnic tables that are covered and bathrooms at this location too. Good amount of shade throughout trails too. Beautiful purple rocks/boulders.
