White Sands Motel - Motel in Alamogordo - 1101 S White Sands Blvd, USA

Stayed here for the show at the Air Force base. Rooms were very clean, air conditioner worked great. Quiet, restful night. Grateful for the ice machine and quick breakfast. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting Alamogordo.

The owner gave us a well located room, and was friendly. The room was basic and fairly comfortable. The AC was pretty loud. Bath towels were nice. The bed was ok. Location is convenient to restaurants and to White Sands Park. I would stay there again. Just too bad the AC is so loud.

My son and I stayed in the White Sands Motel on our visit to Alamogordo. The motel is a classic style motel with parking spaces outside of each individual room. The motel was built mid-century and has a retro feel. It is well-maintained and clean. The room had comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The bathroom was smaller than modern hotels, but it worked just fine. The towels were good and absorbed moisture well. The office staff were very friendly and helpful.|There was a Television in the room and a mini-split AC and heating unit. |The motel offered breakfast and it was good. It was slightly more limited in selection than some modern chains, but there was plenty of quality food and choices.|I can highly recommend the White Sand Motel. It is clean, comfortable, and located well.

I can't say enough about our stay at White Sands Motel. After a long day of flying and spending time at White Sands, the hot shower and comfy bed were a welcomed relief. The proprietor was very friendly and made the check-in effortless. The room and breakfast room were very clean. The continental breakfast was very satisflying, with a nice assortment of cereals, bread products, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. Would highly recommend.

Chuck and his family are incredible hosts. You could not ask for a more friendly and welcoming motel. The rooms and clean and comfortable and the price is fair. Easily a 5 star experience.

A few of us had to stay here for work because they were the only rooms left in town. The staff was nice but the rooms were bad. The AC didn't work well and one of my guys even slept in his truck. Motel 6 was a big improvement.

Stayed a night on a road trip to visit white sands in the morning. Decent little classic western motel, you get to park right in front of your room. The room itself was pretty clean, without any cleaner smells, though a bit dated. The bathroom was very clean, though the shower was a bit weak. Breakfast was basic, tho the coffee was decent. A great small perk is you can barrow sled discs for dune sledding, don't forget to wax! Overall a little bit pricey for what you get, but a good deal overall.

Availability throughout Alamogordo was low, but the owners got a walk-in room for us at a good price. The free breakfast was pretty minimal. The AC was very loud.
