My elderly parents booked a cabin at White Rock over the phone with a host named Estee, that apparently is not associated with the resort and runs bookings privately for some of the cabins. My dad booked cabin 11. |This cabin needed a lot of updating and repairs. The dishwasher did not work, the hot water only lasted for 3 minutes, the paint was missing on walls and the deck was also in bad shape. The bathroom floor was rotting away. The decor was shabby and the cabin needed a deep cleaning. Carpets were disgusting. The fridge froze our food. Many of the light fixtures were missing bulbs or the bulbs were dead. My parents and I were very disappointed in this cabin as it was over $400/night.|My dad called during the stay to make complaints and the host did not call back. He made several other attempts to contact her to request at least partial refund and she never called him back.|See photos.
To sum it in one word - PERFECT!! The cabin was spotless and the decor was elegant and tastefully done. We stayed in cabin #17. The view was AMAZING! The kitchen had everything you need...just needed a broom and dustpan. No trash bags, so bring extra. It was a wonderful vacation with family. If we ever in that area again. We will definitely be staying there🥰
Amazing views with hottubs on the patio of most cabins. Well maintained and well worth the $. Book ahead because they book out all the time
I stayed in cabin #12, the sand dollar. The rooms were nice! The upstairs loft was small, but it's big enough for me. I could stand in it as long as I bent my torso down. I'd say it's about 3 feet tall. But the view, OH MY ME, don't even get me STARTED on the view! I almost always sleep to thunder sounds at night but the sound of the waves alone was enough to put me to sleep instantly. I sat in the hot tub with some sparkling cider and watched the waves over the sunset. It was so beautiful! I highly reccomend this resort as it has so many wonders.
Unfortunately it rained most of the time, but we visited during the off season. We still enjoyed our time though. Would definitely come back
Relaxed in a cozy, clean, and well stocked tiny house right on the ocean. Amazing views and well groomed pathways down to the beach. Stairs are old, and a lot of them to get down to the beach area but they are low steps and easy to climb. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck in the evenings watching the sunset was a big plus!
First time we stayed here and absolutely loved it. We scored with the weather and had four days of beautiful sunny clear skies. The view every morning and during the day and the sunset were magnificent. So enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the ocean every morning afternoon and evening. Lovely little cabin perfect for two people. Enjoyed our four days so much! Can't wait to go again!
What a hidden gem! Check in was amazingly easy, the little cabin was so clean and had everything our family needed for the long weekend. (Including a small kitchen.)The private hot tub was a great end to days spent exploring the private beach, which was just a few short steps away on a well maintained path. (Not wheelchair accessible.) Just an 8 minute drive from the amazing nearby restaurants.
