Great service. Great location. A storm just came through and destroyed a few of the cabins. They still haven’t been able to clean the grounds. But it was a great weekend. Kids loved swimming at the beach.
Pork chop (dog) and my girlfriend spent a weekend in the cabin on the lake. It was very roomy, maybe could use a little TLC here and there, but very nice in general. Fireplace was going all weekend, bed was comfy, kitchen was nice.. just a fun and pleasant stay all around. The owners were awesome with any questions or requests we had, highly recommend with the beautiful views, price and hospitality. Really enjoyed our stay and would return for another visit. I love my girlfriend and she loved our stay ;)
Clean but very run down! We could see through our cottage walls to the outside. Barely any lights in the cottage as well no ceiling lights and about 4 lamps for the whole place. It was dark!! The boats at the launch were full of water and looked have not been used in a long time. With a little tlc this place would be a gem. Now, it’s clean but lacking.
So, a couple of weeks ago, my daughter, best friend, and her daughter were travelling to stay in another location near-by. When we arrived, I was horrified by the accommodations. I immediately started looking for another place within a reasonable driving time to stay that was dog friendly and could accommodate us. I called here and was greeted by a fantastic host, Daniel, who was very kind and understanding of our situation. Daniel assured that he had a place that could accommodate on such a short notice (mind you, it was 8pm on a Saturday night)!!! He was very helpful to our very last minute vacation changes - and made sure that everything was good to go! We arrived at the cabin and loved the view and the location! The girls had a blast and the dog was more than comfortable. Our vacation started as a nightmare and ended so beautifully. I was beyond grateful to Daniel and his hospitality! I would love to come back next year -- actually -- my daughter has not stopped asking me about it!!!!! So WILL be back!
Just what we needed! The cabin was very cozy. We loved everything the property had to offer, from the beach to the Horseshoes to the firepits. The cabins are spaced out enough to where it is comfortable. The breeze coming through is peaceful. Daniel was a great host. We look forward to coming back again. Couple small areas of improvement: the beds are quite thin and uncomfortable. The spider webs on the ceilings are a little off putting. Also, the tree limb on the pathway to the cabin is in the way to walk through. During our stay, we only had internet the first night and the rest we were without. But that was okay since we weren't there for that. Trust me, there were WAY more positives with our experience. We will be back, next time with our kiddos. Thanks Daniel!
These cabins are charming and comfortable, with everything we needed to make our stay fun. A great getaway for families with a nice swimming area. The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people you'll ever meet, who are working hard to make the place even better.
I owned and operated this resort for 47 years! It now has new, youthful owners who have upgraded many things, including adding natural gas furnaces for year-round comfort! The new owners, Daniel and Nicole Allen, have renamed Glaser’s Glenn Log Cabin Resort, the White Lake Cabin Resort! Of course, I would think it's a five!! We worked hard to have a friendly, fun environment with squeaky clean log cabins!! Plus that's the positive feedback we get on a regular basis!! Now Daniel and Nicole are doing the same!!
We stayed at the "cottage with a cabin look". Great location, friendly and wonderfully helpful and thoughtful host Biggest negative is a BIG one - the beds are absolutely awful. The one in the first bedroom (with a fan), is just ok, especially compared to the one in the second bedroom. Our kids slept there, but it's really REALLY uncomfortable. Despite the beds, the cabin itsself is fine and we really appreciated the window air conditioner (keep the bedroom doors open or you'll melt!), but it did seem way overpriced for what you get. Other things to note: +Just a short walk down hill to the lake! - be careful pulling in/out of the parking spot..its easy to scrape the bottom of your vehicle. - steep, unlit stone steps up to the front door, which swings outward, so it's a bit awkward to get in and scary if my kids tried to do it themselves (Also, having some basic pantry items in there like oil, salt/pepper would have been nice!)
What a charming place with great food! After an afternoon of walking the area my wife and I stopped at Pekadillâs for a sandwich. We are glad we did. My wife got a beef sandwich on rye and loved it. I got their rendition of a Reuben called a St
This is a restaurant that I like very much in the United States. The food is very delicious and there are many choices. The staff are very friendly and the overall feeling is very good.
We went on taco Tuesday and only one of us got tacos. They were good. The adult grill cheese is the way to go. Both the tater tots a fries were delicious. Itâs pub food but good. The service was good and our drinks were replenish frequently. We wer
Excellent food & generous portions at a reasonable price. Service is friendly & efficient. The atmosphere is warm with decorations for each holiday and chic year round decor thatâs hand painted even in the bathrooms.
