White Duck Taco Shop Downtown - Taco restaurant in Asheville - 12 Biltmore Ave, USA

When I say, I’m really disappointed as this places has been raved so many times and it missed the mark completely. My husband and son didn’t even take a bite from the Korean beef. Kimchi was over powering and the flavors didn’t go well. The fish on the fish taco wasn’t seasoned but thankfully the cream helped pull it together. The Bangkok shrimp was salty and confusing. The “world famous watermelon sangria” tasted as if they watermelon was rancid. Unpleasant Needless to say, this was an expensive waste and we wouldn’t be revisiting this place again. I’m so disappointed as I was super excited to try the tacos and confused as to why the lines are always long.

The salsa trio is SO GOOD! Definitely get the salsa trio and take home your extra salsa, they’re all awesome. Everything gluten free was clearly marked and I had no issues after eating here. The pork belly taco was our favorite, it was delicious. Our least favorite was the tikki masala - it was good tikki masala but didn’t go great on a taco. Still, everything was super tasty and the line moves fast. There’s more seating you think there is, there’s a back room. For parking just street park or find a garage nearby, we found a space no problem.

Amazing food. Our usual stop when we visit. I had the Korean, Shrimp and Fish tacos. All are on my repeat list next visit.

Found this excellent taco shop on a day trip in Ashville! Such carefully crafted tacos with fun iterations refined into culinary delights! Duck taco hands down the best I tried. Worth a visit and can't wait to return on my next adventure! Thanks White Duck!!

Good place to grab a quick bite to eat. The menu is pretty diverse, there's something for everyone. There are plenty of seats when considering the rear dining area and patio.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I hear the word "Taco." Any of my past visits to Asheville showed this place was always busy. Too long of a wait for me. This time no line and I chanced it. Friendly staff, prompt service. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavor combinations. Creative and unique choices. Will definitely come back on my next vacation.

Tried the lamb gyro (super fresh) and chicken Tikka masala (a little spicy) and loved them. Didn't like the Jerk Chicken- too much nutmeg and no pineapple! Chips and queso were great. We'll definitely try this place again. Unless you're crazy hungry- 2 tacos is a great amount.

I liked this place but didn’t love it. The tacos were a bit overpriced but I guess that’s to be expected when eating downtown. Although, the fish taco was 11/10. I also got the jerk chicken taco and it was fine but not great. One of my friends got the gyro taco and said it was amazing! They had a watermelon sangria that was very tasty and fun to try. They had a little patio in the back that we ate at which was nice.
