White Caps Motel - Featured Reviews (105)
Room was newly renovated, clean, comfortable. Manager was friendly and accommodating. Parking is a little tight. Located easy access off the freeway and close to downtown.
If you’ll notice, there are a few one star reviews from 6-7 years ago. We enjoyed our stay, just one night to sleep but overall super nice.
Great experience all the way around. The room was recently remodeled. Clean bathrooms. The bed was uber comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It couldn't be a better stay. I highly recommend this Motel for its outstanding value in Ventura.
Don’t let appearances fool you! This is a lovely property. The owner is a thoughtful host. Absolutely immaculate and comfortable rooms. Perfect location in midtown Ventura. We didn’t have any construction noise or inconvenience. Can’t wait to see what the upgrades will look like! Will definitely be back.
I agree with other reviewers - don't judge this place by the outside! The have the "under new management" sign out in front and they are remodeling the far end into a garden patio to be finished in 2025, I was told by the friendly man who checked us in. I had a long talk with him when I was outside taking photos of the place. Just as I was telling him about nightmare motels I've stayed in where a train runs right behind the building and wakes you up at dawn, a train ran right behind the building and he pointed it out to me! He assured me I wouldn't be able to hear it from inside the room, and he was right. We had room 104, which was gorgeous and super clean. I used the two stools under the counter to put my suitcase on next to my side of the bed. It's a great value for the price. My only negs would be the loud air conditioner (which isn't a negative if you turn it off for the night), the water takes a long time to get hot, there's no microwave or fridge, and finally you might knock your shin into the corners of the bed, see my photo. Still, for the price, you are getting a great place to stay for the night - take it!
Don’t be fooled by the exterior of this place! The rooms have recently been renovated and are nicer than some of the hotels in the area. The A/C runs cold, water runs hot, and the beds are super comfy. The motel is about a 25 minute walk from downtown Ventura and a two minute walk from a great restaurant. The owner and housekeeping were nice and attentive. Loved that we could park our car directly in front of our room. Will definitely return when in the area again.
Wow! I wasn’t prepared for how nice this motel was, even after reading the reviews. The rooms are truly wonderful, boutique style without the outrageous price of a boutique hotel. They are spacious and spotlessly clean, something that is really important to me! The bed was quite honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on this trip (a 3 week road trip) and the sheets etc. and towels are top quality. Although there aren’t mini fridges in the rooms, I imagine that the new owners will probably eventually install them - in my opinion, the most important things have been done, complete renovations to the rooms in what was an older motel (which I do love) and a level of comfort and cleanliness that is top notch. We went for a walk in the neighbourhood, which felt very safe, and had dinner in a fantastic Mexican restaurant a few blocks down the road, called Casa de Soria. Honestly, I can’t recommend this motel (and restaurant) enough!
We’d like to say that our recent stays at the White Caps Motel were as good as they get. The proprietor is kind and accommodating. The rooms themselves are modern and spacious, top-notch clean and well appointed. Very restful given the comfortable beds and the super quiet atmosphere. The motel is near some good eats and a very nice laundromat, perfect for us as we returned to the motel after a camping excursion on Santa Cruz Island and we wanted to clean up and lay low. Additionally, the location is an easy 25 minute walk to downtown Ventura (we were without a car). Overall, it’s a great value for the money and then some.
For the Price it’s definitely worth it, the rooms were renovated and cleaner than i have ever seen in a hotel the Bath also really nice. From the outer look you wouldn’t expect that the rooms look like that. Location is not good but also not bad.
I've had the pleasure of being part of an incredible gym experience, and I can't help but express my gratitude for the fantastic atmosphere it provides. The coaching team goes above and beyond in ensuring proper form and technique, making the whole j
Awesome customer service! Diego was great and set me up in the store with a mask/snorkel combo for my cousin who is moving to Hawaii. Worked within my budget to get two good products but didnât try to upsell me. Would recommend this place to anyone
