White Birch Lodge - Resort hotel in Elk Rapids - 571 Meguzee Point Rd, USA

I stayed at the White Birch Lodge over Labor Day 2024. The setting is idyllic! Reservations were easy, it was easy to find and the lodge was pretty much as expected for an Up North lodge. The lady who checked us in was SO kind. She offered us a tour of the facilities and walked us to our room. The room was quiet and dated but again was pretty much as expected for the setting. We stayed in the main building with a room that had a great view of the lake. We walked by the Rustic Cabins and while we never went in them, they do appear to be rustic. Down the lakefront there were newer buildings and we did go in one of these and I think they would be quite nice experience. My rating is based largely on the “surprise” $150 charge I got on my bill. My room was not air conditioned but they advertised that window units were available on request. I did not see that they charge $150 for the use of the air conditioner. This charge, while not a bank breaker, really soured an otherwise good stay

My first trip here. I DJ'd a wedding "after party" at this place and it was close to home so I didn't stay over to evaluate any rooms. But what I saw was a place was very cozy and a lot of fun! The service I experienced was excellent and the staff were awesome! Book your special event with confidence!

Amazing place! Jack, Cole, Kay, Paige are amazing! It was a pkeasure to have fun with that gang! All the stuff does great job!

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing my family and I loved staying here and we will for sure be back. would highly recommend for anyone. Lots of water sports. If you go a little bit early in the year you might get the place to yourself like we did.

This was our first year at White Birch Lodge. We were looking for an all inclusive vacation in the states. We have a 9 year old son and liked the idea that they have a kids camp and many activities to keep him occupied so that my husband and I could have relaxation time. Our experience was amazing. When you show up, all you do is unpack your clothes and you are on instant vacation. You don't have to think about where you are going to eat or what your are going to do. The amenities were fantastic. They had paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, skiing, tubing, swimming, sunbathing, sailing, bike riding, sports, yoga, golf nearby and I believe other things I am forgetting. The location is absolutely beautiful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you want to hire a babysitter, the college kids that work there are available for hire. All of your meals (food is great) and entertainment are provided. It was all very clean and the beach and lake are so pristine. Don't pass up a chance to go to White Birch Lodge, you will not regret it.

White Birch Lodge was fantastic! The resort is the definition of relaxation with beautiful sand beaches surrounded by trees and the crystal clear waters of Elk Lake. The lodge offers many different rooms options to accommodate any guest. The staff are very helpful and the grounds are very well maintained. They even provide free bikes to cruise into town! Very close to excellent restaurants and area activities. They revamped the classic all inclusive experience to ala carte and we stayed for 3 nights. Perfect spot for families, couples, or just getting away for the weekend. Highly recommend!

My family and our friends families visited White Birtch Lodge in August . It’s is very nice camping place , clean , staff very nice and helpful. The only thing couple of our friends had very old rooms, not updated at all , style 1930’s. Not all units have air conditioning, very disappointed. ||No one notified us about those things ,we found out at the arrival day. ||AC is needed because of the humidity and the rooms are getting hot .||Other then that very nice place to relax at the camping style .||Access to beach , spot and parking to keep your boat which is great.

My wife and I and our two 7 year olds had to decide between Disney, Myrtle Beach, the Bahamas, and a little known all inclusive resort in Northern Michigan. Based solely on Trip Advisor reviews we chose White Birch Lodge for something completely different. Let me assure you, it was. The ladies that handle reservations were very friendly and patient during booking ( I had a ton of questions). Many current staff members are college young men and women that have been guests at the lodge since they were children. They were the friendliest, most positive, kid loving group that you can imagine. Every staff member truly "gets it". White Birch Lodge is the exact opposite of a commercialized crowded vacation destination. Families truly come together at this resort and many long term friendships are made. My kids loved tubing, shuffle board, water skiing, camp fires, playing ghost in the grave yard, etc, etc. My wife and are we're very satisfied with the quality of all of the meals. Accommodations were perfect for the surroundings (keep in mind this is a rustic, old school type family vacation, not the Ritz). We asked the kids before we left where they want to go on vacation next year and without hesitation they said "White Birch Lodge". Many families, including us, have coordinated their schedules so we can get back together next year same time, same place. That says a lot considering we didn't know one person there just 8 days ago. Take a chance, you will not regret it!!!
