We’ve really enjoyed our stays at Whispering Winds the last couple of years. It is a GREAT monthly campground with roomy sites, a spotless laundry facility, a nature trail, and two dog parks. If you’re loud and messy, you’ll want to consider something else. The rules are super strict and for good reason. Best part… Don and Shari. They have been an incredible blessing to us. We proudly recommend this campground and look forward to staying there again.

Loved the location. Lovely wooded park close to Spartanburg, Greer and Greenville. Shari and her husband are awesome hosts and worked hard to ensure all our needs were met during our stay. We stayed in site 29 which is nicely shaded with a private deck and has ample room for a large rig and two vehicles. Super quiet...peaceful...safe...a gem of a park. Strong Verizon service and all utilities worked well. I highly recommend this park for either long or short-term stays.

New to the area, my partner and I stayed at Whispering Winds for about 3 months while we looked for a home in Greenville. We had such a wonderful experience, and we were sad to leave! Our neighbors were friendly, there is a private hiking path through the campground, and even 2 dog parks! It’s close to Spartanburg, Greer, and Greenville but still feels private and remote. We feel very fortunate we were able to secure a spot there even if it wasn’t for too long, and I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a long term spot for your camper or RV!

Whispering Winds is THE BEST campground in the upstate!!! I spent a few months trying to scout out the best campground around, not finding but a few desirable locations. I even landed at a nice campground before WW, but after arriving at WW I realized that it didn’t even compare. Whispering Winds has spacious sites for each camper/RV, a great laundry room with reasonably priced loads, and is well secluded from the city life but not too far for an easy morning commute or afternoon visit! All though all of these things are great, the owners of this campground make the difference. Don and Shari run a great place and treat each of their guests like their own.

Five stars! Our experience from start to finish was simply a pleasure. The owners Don and Shari were fantastic, accommodating and just plain hospitable. The Whispering Winds RV park is well kept, offers easy access, and has a great laundry facility to boot. Our evenings were quiet and the days were pleasant. Two dog parks were clean, nice walking trails and friendly neighbors makes this park an easy win. Shari worked diligently to get us a space when needed. It’s a popular park and stays filled as a result. The prices are fair when balanced with quality and value. Shari and Don also were very helpful with local knowledge tips as we were from out of state. We’d definitely return!

We were fairly lucky to get in at Whispering Winds RV Park. We stayed for a year. They were easy to work with and accommodating. The RV park, is small, safe, quiet (most of the time! The neighbouring houses can often play music and shoot guns late into the evening/ night), and kept neat and tidy. The downfalls are the amount they charge for an extra person and the amount of construction noise in the area during the day. Also, the internet can be a bit finicky. The laundry facilities were a nice touch, unfortunately they took a lot longer to build and we didn't get much use before we moved on from Whispering Winds. Would I recommend or return? Yes most definitely!

We lived at this campground almost a year while building our home. Shari and family, the owners are the kindest people. I had my hip replaced and had covid during our time there. They were checking on me, asking if we needed anything. Genuine care and compassion from this family. Campground is clean and orderly, private and quiet. They are cleaning/ landscaping frequently. The place was very nice. They now have a laundry too. Thanks again Shari and family for the lovely stay we had there. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Whispering Winds is not only an amazing RV park, it is home. I recently finished my year-long stay at the park. The owners (Shari and Don) are the most genuine and caring individuals I've ever met. They are just a call away and are eager to serve their guests as best they can. The grounds were clean, and were always being improved and maintained. They expanded more lots, added a laundry facility, and more during my stay at Whispering Winds. The residents of the park were very friendly, respected one another's privacy and bliss, and kept the park clean. The residents' pets were also very well behaved and took advantage of the quant dog parks at either end of the grounds. Overall my experience was way more than I imagined, in the best way possible. If you are looking for a great place to relax after a long day at school or work or simply coming to the area for a long vacation, Whispering Winds is the place for you. I hope you enjoy your time as much as I did!!
