Whispering Pines Inn - Bed & breakfast in Norman - 7820 E State Hwy 9, USA

This was recommended to us by our sister-in-law (lives 15 minutes down the road), and it was a last-minute reservation. The manager went out of her way to accommodate us as they had a power outage earlier in the day and lost power to the Bluetooth door locks. The grounds were beautiful, and the room was beyond words. When breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning, it was hot and fresh. The pancakes were made with fresh blueberries. I will definitely be telling people to stay here whenever they are in the area. We will be staying here whenever we are in the area as well.

The room had a funny smell that really never went away. It's a beautiful location! The restaurant was nice but they only had one server that did everything. She was rough around the edges and was running ragged. The B&B was sold out and they seemed to be behind. Breakfast was brought to the cabin and it was good. We had to get syrup and butter since it had been left off the tray. The smell in the room was very off putting. They need to be aware that smells, even if they think it's pleasant can not be to others.

My husband and I got married here five years ago and this year I decided to surprise him with a stay for our anniversary. We spent the night in the Secret Rose. It was as beautiful and romantic as I remembered. We were brought breakfast in bed and our food was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and the koi fish pond is peaceful and lit up beautifully at night. I was quickly reminded why I fell in love with this place as a bride. In my review I included some pictures from our recent stay and some from our wedding 6/22/24 and 6/22/19.

All I can say is WOW! This place has everything to offer just as in the website. Staff was incredible. One of the most well presented dinners I've ever experienced. Lovely grounds to explore and out door seating was welcoming. Again the staff. Nice room and clean. If your a local like me and never been. At least go for dinner. You will not be disappointed.

I loved it. I'm completely relaxed. Its a beautiful property and checking in and out is hassel free. 5 🌟 stars. Delicious breakfast. Next time I'll stay when the restaurant and lounge is open. Highly recommend.

I’ve always wanted to visit this place and he planned a quick staycation for us to do so. Overall, I’d say that it was a wonderful getaway. I would love for one of my clients to book it so I can decorate it for them. The best part is the jacuzzi tub was actually roomy enough for two people! Loved that! Our cottage was very spacious. Traci brought us our breakfast was very nice. My only complaint was that we didn’t get to sleep in cause there was like a possum or something running in the ceiling, lol, probably something that happens out in the country and my potatoes were extremely greasy. But overall, I’d definitely recommend it.

This has been the BEST hotel/BnB experience I’ve had! The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean and romantic. They even serve you breakfast in bed and it’s included. Traci personally booked us late at night and helped us extend our stay with last minute notice and made sure we had our breakfast hot and early. The area is serene and quaint. The whole atmosphere seems unreal even though it’s not far from activities. Great for a couples getaway and Valentine’s Day. Seems like you can also book the place for weddings so it can be a venue and hotel and there’s plenty of places to stay near by! The prices are very reasonable. Whole experience was unbeatable and we will definitely be coming back. This is THE place to stay in Norman and you’re not gonna regret! I’m in love with this Bed and Breakfast!

Never staying here again. My girlfriend and I have stayed here 4 times in the past year and I truly did not want to leave a bad review, but we've had problems each time we've stayed here. Whether it be the lights in the bathroom not working right, the jacuzzi not working right, or the wifi not working. This time however, as we were getting ready for bed I discovered 2 roaches. A small 1 by the toilet and a larger 1 by the window. Totally disgusted and disturbed. Spend your money elsewhere. This place is gross.
