Fantastic sandwiches! Manager was beyond friendly and enthusiastic being that we have never been to this sandwich shop before. Our sandwiches we got were the “Wicked”. I got mine on a spinach wrap and it was delicately made and easy to eat without being messy. Super impressive!
Should probably get a surprise health inspection. There was Cheese Wiz on the ceiling, no hats or hair nets, one employee was just sitting there watching a show on their phone (not on brake). The more I looked around the worse it got.
This location has continually gone downhill. It was great when the young man was running it but since the older gentleman took over, it’s not the same place. Today, I asked three times for my bread to be toasted and was assured that it would be. It was not. There was hardly any tuna on my sandwich as you can see by the photo.
Took over 25 min to receive one bowl, one sandwich, fries, and a shake. There was one order in front of us. Fries were cold, shake melted, food made incorrectly.
When I first walked in I thought there was a fire. It was so smokey! I was coughing. Apparently it's time to get a working hood fan. Ordered 3 subs got only 2. Wife said her Philly was the worst she ever had. Mother in laws turkey sub was good. My Cali sub was weird. Turkey shavings from bottom of pan maybe? With the hospital right across the street, place should be making bank. No excuse for a non-working hood.
It is amazing how this place can stay in business with its lack of customer service skills as well as the lack of employees. There is absolutely no excuse for having 1 person in your entire establishment for the lunch crowd. If you are going to leave 1 employee, please train them in the area of customer service. Without customers, your business makes no money, and they cannot make a paycheck! I’ve given this location multiple attempts before leaving this review!
Overall I was very disappointed. The cashier was very friendly but the sandwich I got was awful. I got two regular sandwiches and regular order fries, spend over $21. My sandwich was disgusting. For a regular sandwich that cost over $10, you would think there would be more meat that was given. I think I tasted more of the cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and avocado than anything else. The dining area was very dirty. None of the tables were cleaned, flies all over the place. I don't think I'll go back again.

Great place to head out for a walk or run, but I would not go alone, as going on the canal path side can be rather solitary. Dog-friendly, bathrooms. Very pretty. There is a picnic table under an overhang outside the bathrooms.
