I used the Whataburger App for the first time to place my order at 6am because I was tired of breakfast food and wanted a green Chile double to start my day. The app is convenient because you can customize every detail of your order and reduce misunderstandings with the clerk. I live like 2 minutes away so I felt a little silly ordering on the app but I also didn't want to be late to work so it was nice to just walk in and walk out with literally 0 wait time. And my food was super fresh because I doubt too many burgers are being ordered that early. Reasons for my star ranks: 5 of 5 for the food. Best green Chile double I've ever had, and trust me I've had many. The fries were fire too, I'm not sure if the 45th & Western location does something different, but their fries are better than any other location I've been to in Amarillo. I have the clerk 4 out of 5 because they weren't awake yet or something but I wasn't greeted or anything and I had to tell them I was there to pick up my online order. I also had to ask for spicy ketchup as I was not offered any, but it really wasn't that big of a problem. Like I said, I think they were just starting their shift or just about to end it, and not in the zone. I get it. 3 of 5 for atmosphere simply because I personally don't like the location of the store. That isn't any fault of Whataburger or designers or planners. I simply dislike the small size of the interior and I don't like sitting right next to busy roads while I eat. I never dine in at the location for that reason, so my rating is biased by personal preferences. I can say that any time I do go in to order it pick up, it's always clean. No sticky floors, no funky fast food place odors, clean counters, tables and doors no matter what time of day I've been in there. Used to do Door Dash, was in there frequently. It's a nice place honestly, I'm just claustrophobic and it's a smaller store. That's my problem, not theirs. All in all, for the price you can't go wrong with Whataburger. In fact I may go get some in a little bit. My long book of a review is now concluded.
Those guys and girls are kicking it thanks for making me feel so welcome and it was so much fun watching your customers enjoying their food. It would be my pleasure to spend my money in there again. And thanks for all your hard work. And your food was so good I wiped my hands on my shirt.
Whataburger is still one of my favorite burger chains, even after going full corporate. This location usually does pretty good. My go-tos are the patty melt and the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. Disappointed that the chain stopped carrying jalapeño cheddar biscuits. I'd recommend ordering ahead in the app. Otherwise, you're going to wait a long time, and sometimes even with an order ahead you're going to wait a long time.
We have been to this location several times. From time to time they mess up our order, we call them, they fix it and then we’re good. BUT today same thing. Or grill chicken sandwiches were wrong. We called they fixed it and they were wrong again. We were hungry so we ate them anyways. I ordered a coffee because all the good places were closed already. They said it was fresh. Didn’t seem like it because it was mildly warm/hot. It was a little more than half full. We asked to fill it up more please and they did. We ate and I started drinking the coffee on the way home. I was on my last drinks and I drank the rest of it and got a huge rush of grounds. I HATE GROUNDS MIXED IN TO MY COFFEE!!!! So here is a picture of what it looked liked. Overall decent place to eat late but avoid the coffee off at all possible.
Whataburger has removed the word fast from fast food. Absurd. Go through drive through and you’re there a minimum 15 minutes or more and your 1 of 2 cars. Service and speed is horrible
Whataburger's with cheese and fries were hot and delicious. The employers were very friendly. Very clean and organized. We really enjoyed our meals We will definitely go back when in the area
I just love the consistency of Whataburger. It doesnt matter if i eat in Amarillo, Witchata Falls, Dallas, ect... It is always good, hot, and delicious. So stop into your local Whataburger order a green Chile double cheeseburger combo, have the onion rings and a sweet tea. You wont regret it
Don't get to do breakfast often, but always prefer the Breakfast-on-a-Bun Ranchero with extra picante sauce. Yum. I always order two. What Whataburger has my favorite coffee too.
This is an absolute gem for representing diversity of cuisine. Tried the veggie sampler and split between two adults and two younger kids. Now will find it difficult on which single vegetable plate to choose given they were all fantastic. Have no goo
Stopped in on our way to Colorado. Had the shrimp & grits, popper burger, avocado burger, and fried shrimp between our family and everything was a 10 out of 10! Highly recommend.
The food is amazing and pretty spicy now. A must go to place if your in the mood for spicy sea food. They even got burgers, Alfredo, frog legs, all the good stuff
I've been here twice now. It's definitely more expensive than most of the breakfast places around here but the food is excellent and the service is very good also. I'm just not used to paying so much for a basic bacon and eggs breakfast. I ate it a d
Great place, great food, fun and friendly staff. I often stop here for breakfast after dropping my kids at school, itâs a busy time of day for them but for eat in thereâs not usually a long wait. Most often I get a sausage burrito and coffee, som
I've been here a few times over the years, and if it was closer to my side of town I'd go a lot more often. Typically I've gotten Sunday breakfast here. Everything I've ever tried has been hella good, but I really recommend the menudo and the breakfa
The guy at the front 1/15/24 around 4:30 Was amazing. He looked at the ticket and fixed a mistake of their not being soup and then re-read it and added extra noodles to the online request. He is awesome
A cool little Tex-Mex cafe open for breakfast and lunch, Burrito Stop has been on our to-try list for a while. We were able to stop in on a Saturday for lunch. They do have different specials but I'm still not clear which days are what. I did cheese
