I love Whataburger when I come and visit. I get the large combo, #2 double burger with salsa verde as a dipping sauce for their fries. I got a delicious vanilla milkshake with a large Coke.
Drive thru for lunch is bad. Burger and chili fries were thrown in the bag and everything was cold!
Never disappointed. Good customer service. We had a very large order 15 people and every burger and fry came out just like we ordered.
I'm giving five stars even though they were prioritizing drive-through customers, and those of us inside the restaurant had to wait even to be acknowledged. Despite a wait, the employees were genuinely nice and gave great service when it finally came. The food was hot and fresh. This is a good location, but they shouldn't ignore customers that walk through the door since it does not leave a good impression. Definitely will return though since they made up for it.
OMG! How hard is it to serve hot food??? I get hotter sandwiches at Schlotztsky's! I came thru the drive-thru 01/22/24 expecting that because there were 2 lines 4 -5 cars deep that they would be making the burgers fresh - shame on me for being so optimistic! Both burgers I purchased were cold and the fries were cold and tasted old. I give up on the fast food industry in Bulverde!
We did a curbside order on a Saturday at lunch. The order was promised at 12:12, at 12:35 still did not have order with no recourse. Not sure what the problem was inside the restaurant but it was clear that the order the orders are placed in was not the order they are fulfilled. I would not recommend this location. Despite the steady flow of people, they can’t handle the traffic.
Let me tell you about my morning so far! Left the house and had a plan for today with a time limit. Had time to swing through WAB at Spring Branch TX for a BOB and sweet tea. Got in line ordered my BOB and the gentleman said to pull to 2nd window. I get to the window only to realize my wallet has a different plan for today. My hero for today came to my rescue, this young man told me not to worrie about it! WHAT! Nobody does that. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Well new plan, go home find wallet, return to WAB talk to Mgr and pay for my meal, give a raving review for this hero without a cape. Then give the Mgr $20.00 to assist the next dummies that leaves the house without a wallet.
We usually stop at this location to get our jalapeño cheese sausage egg cheese cheddar biscuit!!!! But for some reason this location has the absolutely worst!!!! Drive through and inside delivery time to get your food!!!! It is not uncommon for you to have at least a25-40 minute wait to get your food!!!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!! either hire people or close maybe hummmm the 2nd drive through lane????!!!!!!! Come on!!!!!

It's a beautiful, well-kept state park. They have so many camping sites. The shower house is big, old but nice. There are so many hiking trails and beautiful rivers. We saw a family of deer when driving to the campground.

There was nothing wrong with the service person. In fact, the hostess was very sweet and professional. However, the wait was about twice as long as expected. But I like the food there, so I doubt if this wait will impede my future visits!!
