Whataburger - Restaurant in Alice - 141 US-281, USA

The food was top notch! Hot delicious, every detail of the order was to perfection. However DO NOT USE CURBSIDE PICKUP! As they will not bring your food out. We had to go into the restaurant and let them know the order even existed and then they started preparing it.

This was my first experience with Whataburger and it didn't disappoint!! Very friendly and helpful staff. The bacon burger with blue cheese is a belly popper and I'm glad I didn't check the amount of calories upfront, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. But I'm glad I tried it and have no regrets. This location is convenient next to the highway and we didn't see 2 hours on our trip anything so were happy to finally see Whataburger popup!

While our food was hot and fresh, we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. We ordered on the app for mobile pick up. After arriving and waiting 10 minutes passed the 'ready time' I went inside to ask about our order and I found out it wasn't even started.

Incredibly friendly staff, very helpful with large school orders & always with a smile. Dining area was kept very clean despite dozens of smelly football players. A great whataburger, stop here if you're in Alice or passing through.

Compared to our last experience with a Whataburger location while on the road, there was a little bit of PTSD walking into this place. It definitely helps that we have visited this location a couple of times and have always had solid experiences. This experience was no different. There was a little bit of a wait, but we had our food within minutes. Order was 100% correct, they made sure we had napkins, ketchup, all the things. When you have a 9-year-old and are in a restaurant in an area that is not your stomping ground, you just don't want to get up and leave her alone no matter the environment. Even though it was right around lunch time when we visited, they made us seem like we were the only ones there in the place. Faster and more polite than 99% of the Whataburgers here in the DFW area that I have ever been to. Shows that management here knows what they are doing. No flies, no weird smells like the one near Corpus Christi that we will certainly never visit again. We will keep coming back to this awesome Whataburger in Alice!

Good and friendly place for breakfast. Seniors can get a FREE drink or coffee withe their meals. Fully handicapped accessible. Lots of parking!!!

While at the drive-thru. I ordered my meal. They were out of tea's. I opted for water. My drink had been upgraded since I was traveling. Well, I did not get refunded, but the idiot at the window tells me, "Well, I upgraded your water to a large... huh?? Then the manager comes to the window and yells at me, saying that she's gonna make it right. "Give me your change," she says? Why??? Just give me the drink difference. "No" , the manager says, "That's not how you do it." I was tired, had a long road yet ahead, they only reason I had stopped was for a drink. Do you all know what you all do for tired travelers??? Do you realize that kind of attitude sets the tone for the rest of the long trip. Falfurrias Whataburger, and manager at 1 a.m. you need a lot more training. Learn to add. If your fingers dont work, use a calculator. Just cut the bad attitude. They kept my change, I was not gonna sit there and argue with people that can not add !

If I could put zero starts about this location I would, as a whatabuger employee I've been told from my (gm)/ general manager that when I got hired I would be able to get my discount at any whataburger locatioof course with some identification that I work for them, respectfully I asked zoe the cashier on front counter if I can speak to a manager an I explained myself so she didn't think nothing was wrong , she then eventually goes to get her an I assume she explained to her what I needed and zoe ends up coming back and telling me that she can't. I thought it was ridiculous because as an employee for working with whatabuger I thought we all get our "whatabuger discount" not complaining about the 29$ I had to pay just next time to the manager that worked this morning if you could do your job right that would be nice. It's either she ain't doing her job right or I've been lied to by my own general manager but then again my own sister could tell me how I'm supposed to get my discount because she worked for the company to, I don't mind having to pay full price just next time do your job right because if you were at my location at my whataburger I know damn well I would of be needing to give them there's.
