Whataburger - Restaurant in Mustang - 212 N Mustang Rd, USA

Some of my coworkers have been telling me that I should try the honey butter chicken biscuit from Whataburger. So, this morning I did. Hopefully my cautionary tale will save you from suffering my same disappointment. To start with, I was in the drive through line for about 25 minutes. But the real horror began when I got the food home and unwrapped it. I first was met with tater tots that looked more like bricks. Then I unwrapped the sandwich and discovered an overcooked chicken tender in a biscuit with an unholy amount of honey butter sauce running out of the sides. I gave it a taste and it was awful. The biscuit was mushy, the chicken was rubbery and flavorless and the sickening sweetness of the honey butter was overwhelming. It was so bad I didn’t even finish it. These guys should stick to burgers and leave the chicken biscuits to that other place. You know the one I mean.

Absolutely amazing place! Always super friendly staff willing to connect with customers all with fun, exciting, and interesting ways to interact with a customer, always having the best customer service in the town with amazing attention to detail. Store environment is amazing aswell! With a great selection of music playing and an inviting atmnosphere sure to make anyone feel right at home. Food is an absolute must try and it seems as though everything on their menu is amazing opportunity for people to explore different types and styles of what people would usually be accustomed to when it comes to fast food burgers. Always paying attention directly to the quality and craftsmanship of their end product and has been an amazing experience in every way each time I’ve stopped by, highly recommended!

Slow service, very slow, line of cars at drive thru, lobby full of hungry guests, online pickups waiting to deliver. I know Whataburger can do better!!! Too much grease came along with the order. I love Whataburger......... it's conveniently located and so delicious. The strawberry shakes are so on time!! Come Whataburger staff!!! I'm rooting for y'all!! 💚🙌

I was craving a burger and made the mistake of choosing this Whataburger. They usually hit the spot, but it didn't this time. My food got cold fast, which probably meant it wasn't very hot in the first place. I attempted the curbside pick-up, but after waiting 5 minutes I went inside to ask for it and had to wait more. The staff on a Wednesday night looked to be all kids in school and they joked around rather loudly. Food tasted good but the drive wasn't worth it.

Came in at 12:07 and ordered two junior cheeseburger meals. It took almost 30 minutes to get my order. 12:33. The staff seems to lack urgency and organization. They’re walking around like it’s easy breezy and the line is out the door, the drive thru is wrapped and only 2 or 3 people in the packed restaurant have food. Management has got to create some motivation because it’s insane at this point. The employees are nice but no one is happy waiting 30 minutes for burgers.

Had a sweet and spicy bacon cheeseburger. Yummy. Got a side of onion rings as well. I did the drive thru. Just about a 2 minute wait.

The service at THIS STORE is the WORSE I have ever received. Having to wait 11 minutes for a simple biscuit & gravy is RIDICULOUS especially being the ONLY CARat the drive through. ONCE receiving BAD SERVICE Is understandable . TWICE , well ….. okay . THIRED time , okay something is wrong. FOURTH time gets frustrating. F I F T H time , NOW it’s getting RIDICULOUS. I still don’t want to give up and just start taking my business ACROSS THE STREET to BRAUMS ! Evidently THIS STORE MANAGER is slacking on his job . I actually went inside to see if the service is better . The Manager is leaning back drinking coffee and laughing it up with employees. The REGION MANAGER should sneak through this drive through and see for himself, like Wal Mart does .

We were in town for our son’s football game (Thursday night @7:00pm), and decided to run into this Whataburger to grab a quick dinner before the game started at 8:00pm. If took over 30 minutes to get our food and there were multiple people who came in because their drive thru order was messed up. Every other person in the lobby with us was rolling their eyes and clearly incredibly frustrated.
