Burgers were huge got the bacon n cheese. Service was great and quick. Atmosphere was ok to. Oh yeah have cash in your wallet because for me and my family it 53.24 plus tax.
I ordered a cheeseburger, hold the vegetables, add ketchup, and I kid you not, not even 30 seconds after sitting down from ordering, my meal was ready! Amazing speed, never seen that done at a Whataburger! Anyways, the environment is very clean, service was great, and food was great. My only complaint is that they went a little heavy on the mustard on my burger, but these things happen.
The cheese on the salad is ALWAYS melted from them putting the chicken on top of it. They almost always forget my ranch. It’s getting annoying correcting grown adults who can’t even figure out a salad. Cheese on salad isn’t supposed to be melted .-.
What-a-burger is an amazing fast food experience for people outside Texas. It's made fresh so expect to wait, it also tends to be more popular than McDonald's in Texas. Many people eat in so again, expect a wait.
Doesn't matter if you order online 15 minutes ahead of time (like I did) when I told him who I was, they started my order then. Everything I have been here it is extremely slow. Last time!!! UPDATE Dumb ol me thought I would try one more time. Same results. They don't get the online order thing. I order way before I get there. My order was to be ready by 1:02-1:05. I got my order at 1:27. The onion rings were good but the burger was cold and dry. I'll continue to go to other Whataburger's because I love them, but not this one.
Waited 20 minutes for a single cookie. Managers would rather have conversations with each other than do there job
I just want to say I would absolutely give this place 0 stars if I could coming from a former employee. Many reasons why. Mostly because the management team is biased and they have favorites and they treat their employees like dog’s compared to them. I worked there for a couple week and I’m a very hard worker. They will take advantage of anyone like that because they don’t want to do it themselves. They also take advantage if your nice and respectful. They view that as a weakness I guess. Well to begin I’ll tell you right away in the first week I started to notice all the favoritism going on. From a manger that sits and eats fries in front of you and other food and tells you that you can have any of it for later as we are cooking it. To the other team leader Ryan never wearing his beard net until I walked in the door because I already had said something about it before that if he’s a “manager” or team leader whatever that he should be an example not the opposite. This happened several times including the last day I worked there. And the General manager would say something to me always first if I forgot for a minute after doing something off the floor then she would say something to him. Anyway if you’re threatened by another employee also they won’t do a single thing about it! Actually they will ignore you and smile while they ignore you…. And then if you do something they don’t like for example with Ryan… he threw a box on the ground on purpose and was telling the grill guy to pick it up because he’s the boss. (Mind you the other guy is black) anyway 20 minutes go by maybe after I tried to pick it up the first time and he told me no he wanted him to pick it up. So finally I kicked it lightly to the side and picked it up. Later in the day I asked again about writing a statement on the threat that was made to me and Ryan brings me in the office and says this exactly… “ by the way earlier when you picked that box up I wrote you up, but I didn’t give it to you. But it pissed me off because I wanted him to pick it up. But I just wanted to tell you that.” So yea that’s the most insane thing that they can tolerate violent threats but when you do the right thing and pick up the box he threw on the ground they instantly decide they want to write you up! Lol oh and the other day the general manager wouldn’t let me have my employee discount meal like her daughter the (other manager) did the day before. She said it wasn’t allowed and that I could on my break so I waited all day (haven’t ate anything) and she said I’d get a break after 2. Then around 4 she sent me home. (no chance to even get my discount or eat) I even went in about an hour early…. Also they yell at you for things other employees did or didn’t do. Every day I came in I would do my lists right away and sometimes no I did not know every exact thing (again I was only there for a few weeks!) anyway there are a few actually cool employees there that made my days a little better. And my hard work always went unrecognized with them… the first day at my new job they said something about appreciated my hard work 🥲 so that was refreshing to know there are jobs where you ARE appreciated! Anyway not recommended working for this manager team… most of the time I am not one to ever write a review or anything but I felt very disrespected and taken advantage of and I saw how they treat the other employees as well so this review is in hopes things maybe change for the better for them at least. Oh and if they say they are hiring you for full time don’t believe it because she hired me full time and cut me lower than 20 hours! I’m a single full time parent !
I placed an online order and it was ready when promised. When I arrived the restaurant was busy and the drive thru line was super long. I walked up to the counter and the employee was very nice and immediately gave me my order. The food was hot and was very tasty.
Great way to spend a few hours with the family. Quaint little village with lots of history and neat things to look at. It was nice and peaceful. Self-guided tour, but the staff in the gift shop and restaurant gave us friendly and excellent service. I
Neat little place rustic atmosphere good food good service. Will have to try the breakfast next time. If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat, give them a try.
Great place. Clean and the people that work there are really nice. Get a room on the back side with the view of the woods. It's really beautiful out there. Picnic tables to sit around and enjoy the view. Great little restaurant next door. Laundry is
