Whataburger - Restaurant in San Benito - 1110 US-77, USA

I went on November 26, 2023 thru the drive thru and order a #1 and my burger had a long white hair inside my patty. I decide to email corporate telling them about the long hair that it was inside the patty or at least I thought and they send back an email saying that someone will reach out to me in 3 to 5 business days. Never did. So I email them again and they said the same thing and nobody ever reach to me. If corporate never reach out to me what do I expect there local restaurant would reach out to me. Maybe they think I'm making a big deal but if I feel gross with my own hair falling inside my food, I will feel more gross with other people's hair in my food. And No it was not my hair. I don't have long white hair. I don't even know if they wear hair nets in there. Since then I haven't order food there for me. I'm rating the 1 star for service because of corporate never got back to me. The 1 star for the food because of the white hair for local restaurant.

I had gone to the Whataburger in San Benito and ordered 4 small shakes on the app .. when we got there to pick up our order, the lady at the speaker told us they had no more shakes but that they could exchange them for small fountain drinks instead... I said that was fine and asked if we were going to be refunded the difference and she said "uhh no"... I was shocked at her response and asked why not... she replied "because the shakes are small and so are the fountain drinks so there's no difference"... I couldn't believe she just told me that!! I did the math and the difference would've been $6!!!! How is that NOT a difference!?! I asked to speak to the manager and as soon as he got on the speaker box he said they would bring out our shakes in a few minutes... no apology, nothing... Restaurants in San Benito I believe are starting to go downhill with their customer service and quality of food!

I love the food at Whataburger but service needs a lot of work. This morning I went to get a Breakfast on a bun for my daughter. The wait on drive-through was lengthy for only two vehicles on line. I got to the window was charged for the meal, given the drink and no food was handed to me. I had to use my horn to get someone to the window, another young man shows up and after proving I had already paid but did not receive my food only the drink, he went and I guess put my order in, another wait of 5 minutes or more, he came and gave me the food. So sad that this is the service I get in my little home town in San Benito. With only two vehicles in line. Boy they need much training in better service.

Worse service ever an hour wait and Aron the manager couldn't even give us a discount after the worse service ever the fries are cold and taste old yuck 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮

They were really fast in giving me my online order.. if only i knew they were giving me old food. My fries are so cold and stale, my burger was also very cold and its honestly not the first time. The cashier didn't care and no one in the back did either. Hire better staff.

I went with my family to eat at this whataburger and the service was terrible. We all bought a meal with the drink and when we went to get our drinks the water to the drink machine was broken. When we asked why they were selling drinks if they knew the machine was out of order and the cashier told us they still had sweet tea so they were technically fulfulling their obligations and would not be giving us a refund on the drinks. My father was having a bad day so we didn't push it any further.

Please avoid this location. Waited 40min as a dine in customer for cold food. It was ridiculous. If my toddlers weren’t so desperate to get something in their bellies due to the extremely long wait I would have asked for a refund and left.

Employees busting their butts, while management stands around laughing and talking. Major management problems from the GM down, this location is absolutely busy enough to afford the labor cost of adding an extra hand on the shift. I waited 30 minutes for 2 orders of fries and a chicken sandwich, I watched the manager stand in the window laughing and talking while workers scurried around, with a line of cars from the street entrance to the street exit.
