I had a great experience here. Rooms are clean and neat. Owners are very friendly and kind. Will definitely stay here whenever I visit Wharton Tx.

I am impressed 👍 Wharton Inn is by far the most economical hotel I have been too. I actually fell in love with the room. The big comfortable bed in the center of the room with big fluffy pillows was my first stop I never noticed how much a headboard mattered until then. It set the entire feel of the room then I couldn't help but notice how nice the clean perfectly shined wooden flores matched the table, chairs dresser end tables and yes the headboard! The color's of the room keep it cozy and elegant.The dark and light brown almost red of the wood really went well with the antique light blue walls and navy grey trim while also blending naturally with the light yellow and burnt orange color given off from the lampshade, curtain,and comforter all tied perfectly in with the gold from the frames of well chosen perfectly placed pictures.lovely yes but wait there's more this is where it earned my 7 star review can you guess? The bathroom!! YES The bathtub!!! YES 👍 Hot water that never runs out ✅ water pressure from shower head ✔️ 💕 Drain clean fast ✔️ I already really liked the check in liked the option to pay for wash dry and fold liked the location 10 min walk from every store and resturant and shop liked how it was a key to the door instead of a swipe card then the room was super nice when I opened the restroom door I felt like I won ⭐ The owners are very welcoming I appreciate the way they value their guest satisfaction. It shows in the detail put into every inch of this room. And housekeeping you are awesome ⭐ I look forward to your knock and hearing your voice I know it's just your job but hey it feels good being checked on by a kind person everyday.

Love it!!! It's quiet and very peaceful. The bed is amazingly comfortable and rooms are small but manageable. Love the restroom; very spacious and the 🛀 was super relaxing after coming home from work. I would definitely recommend!

The positives were: great price, newer wood floors instead of old stained carpet like you usually find in older motels, decent sized tv with cable, working air conditioning, and a better quality set of sheets and pillows then most budget motels. Cons: sheets had weird smudges and oil looking spots on them which the staff quickly changed when I showed them, cobwebs in the corners, rough towels, no shampoo, mirrors very dirty, the door does not fit tight on the sides and you can see the outside, noisy traffic. The biggest issue was the bed was very hard with just a mattress on ply wood instead of a box spring. Overall about what is expected for the price.

Price: $50.00 (included tax)||Exterior: New Stucco. The outside & parking area were clean & well maintained.||Interior: Room was clean & didn't smell too chemically. One small table & two chairs. New microwave & mini frig. The floor looked new w/light-cherry wood laminate. The room color was a strange blue; would look better if it was beige or cream-colored. The bed was higher up than normal; no bed raisers were present. The mattress was old but still firm; no signs of bed bugs. Don't sleep on the bed edges, you may fall off. The sheets looked clean. Pillows are thin. I used my own pillow.||Bathroom: clean. The towels were thin & raspy. I used my own towels. The shower stream was strong & the water got hot quickly.||Staff: The staff were very friendly, courteous, & accommodating. I woke up late & they didn't give me any problems with the extra 1/2 hour I stayed.||Internet: I was too tired to use the internet, but it is available.||The town of Wharton Texas: The town has the iconic Texas County Courthouse Square set-up with shops & businesses surrounding it. I got a nice Vanilla frappuccino in a bookstore/coffee shop. There is a Mexican restaurant on the square. The Courthouse looked beautiful with their Christmas lights up.||Safe travels All Y'all - Gus

Front desk was super nice. Only thing I didn’t like was that they were touching/ grooming their feet when we pulled in and then they walked straight to the front to check us in. Then we got a room with one bed and the restroom looked like it could use some renovating. Very old. Asked for another room cause it was way too small and got one with two beds. They were a mattress on long flat wooden boards. The restroom was super small and felt like something in a prison cell. I felt like I needed shower shoes. The ac was ok. Had to turn it down cause my kids were sweating throughout the night. Went to the countryside inn for the same amount.

The room smelled like cigarettes and the baseboards and shower floor were dirty. The worst hotel experience 😪. If I was familiar with the city I would sought out another location. First time in Wharton.

Very great for the price! Clean sheets and cable really just all around great hotel for when you drive a lot and just wana lay down and sleep showers are hot. Friendly and lets you check in whenever understands people are on the roads alot. We checked in at 5 am and slept great, ac was on just great service.
