Westward Inn - Motel in Brookings - 1026 Chetco Ave, USA

We arrived 4 hours early but the desk clerk checked us in anyway and said they'd have a room ready in 2 hours. The motel is lovely, with big pots of geraniums out front of each door. The rooms are large, with table and chairs, big TV, coffee, lots of soap, shampoo, etc. It's spotlessly clean, great air conditioning, good location. The only complaint I had was that the beds were soft, and I prefer a hard bed, but it seems most hotel beds are soft these days. People were friendly. There's a bakery and Mexican restaurant across the street you can walk to. This was my favorite hotel of our holiday.

We had a good stay here. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and although there was a small problem with our bill, he sorted it out instantly and with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was good, allowing for an uninterrupted night's sleep. The motel is just off the main road, but it's a fairly quiet area and we didn't have any problems with noise. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance. We'd happily stay here again if we were in the area.

We spent one night in Brookings at the Westward Inn. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a Deluxe King at this motel. What stood out? There IS a view of the ocean from the 2nd floor! I was not expecting that. Also, the room was HUGE. In addition to the comfortable king size bed, there was a large couch, a table, and a mini-frig. The frig has a tiny freezer that desperately needs defrosted in order to have space to put anything in it. There is a lot of unused space in the room which makes it feel even bigger. The toilet and tub/shower room feels pretty small and adding some towel hooks would be helpful. Putting in a curved shower bar would greatly improve the shower experience.

We stayed for three nights. The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful. The motel is pet friendly. The next time that we visit we will bring our dog. The motel was not responsible, but there was another guest with a loud motorcycle.

Front desk guy was super sweet. Room was clean and comfy. Very good basic accommodations. Easy to find as it's on the main road

Really clean and well-appointed room for a hotel in this price range. Everything was tidy and had all the essential amenities in good working condition ie fridge, microwave etc. showers were excellent and had a very good night sleep in the bed The front desk was warm and overall the hotel felt very safe compared to some others in this price range

Nice little roadside motel. Clean small room with very friendly front desk staff. Wifi was solid and bonus to have an ice machine in the parking lot.

We had a wonderful stay. Was peaceful, quiet and clean. Rich was also delightful and super kind to us through out our stay!! Will return again for our next stay :)
