Many times, if they have what I need, not enough or price is too high. When they do have what I need and the price is slightly higher, I purchase it here. The people and service are great.

They helped me load up cinder blocks I needed and are the only place close by that had electrical connectors that would work for my job. The staff answered all my questions and were very polite, the store is well lit and clean.

I bought some beautiful hanging plants here at Westlake Ace. They were large, healthy & very reasonably priced! And the young lady working the area was very helpful & friendly service! Highly recommend you check out their plants!

Westlake Hardware is like a Swiss Army Knife. They have a clean store, a little bit of about everything you may need for quick home repairs and projects. Most of the staff has knowledge of their area and products and don't run away from customers like at some large hardware stores. The only issues I've had are inconsistent personnel when getting Propane Tanks refilled. For some reason, some refuse to fill a 20lb tank with 20lbs of propane like they are designed to have, they want to stop at HALF full ,someplace around 14 lbs. This has happened several times. Talking to the filler person does no good. Someone has been giving bad training, and it needs corrected.

Poor customer service i went there sunday to buy a lawnmower the person said he did not have the mower i wanted but he offered to order and it would take three days that next wednesday i was willing to wait and he asured me he would call when it arrived and i could pick it up well wednesday came around and no call so i called him and he said the warehouse had it on backorder , well why no call or offer to substitute i lost three days , next time i`ll go to Home Depot .

The hometown ace is gone. This place is awful they are more concerned about watching football at the mgmt level. I had to have two associates to help me to be directed to him to have him tell me to go to an associate. Don't believe anything they say is in stock online or ask if they have it when you drove out of your way to go there because it's GameDay and the only focus is setting up the tv and bbq!

I bought a 27 gallon storage bin. The lid was broken during a move and I went to replace it no big deal. Apparently you can't buy the lid by itself without purchasing the whole bin again even though they're separated on the shelf and often there are bins and no lids and such. Lessons learned, don't ever shop at westlake again and don't politely ask an employee there why a simple task can't be done or they will treat you as if you just punched their cat. Don't. Break. Your. Lid.
