Very nice and quiet place. There are a lot of peacocks here, so give them some bread and fruit. Colorful in the style of the wild west. And yes, there is dog poop, and yes, the toilet is not super clean. But my son and I liked it here. I rate the place, not the people who have pets but have no conscience and don't clean up after their pets.
This was a nice park in Las Vegas and although I would say it's a nice piece of green in this lovely city, a large portion of it is desert-like with a small field of green. They have a playground under a roof, small walking trail around the park with some benches, and free parking in a small lot. Overall, I recommend coming here for a stroll if you're in the neighborhood.
The horse park in Western Trails is in need of maintenance. MANY trees in the horse park are dead, many sprinklers in the horse park and on the Cameron St bridle path are water wasters by spraying and puddling where no plants exist. Water leakage at several sprinkler control locations. The south round pen gate closure is broken. The large south arena gate has been chained and locked again!
We were pleasantly surprised to find this western themed park to let our toddler loose. The grounds seemed to be maintained and bathrooms pretty clean on the two separate occasions we stopped by. Although on one morning there were a few homeless who were just waking up and leaving the park when we arrived. I scanned the grounds and playground before letting my kid play and didn’t find anything alarming. The playground was never busy and the area seemed to be frequented more by people walking their dogs than kids. The walking path around the park has a little open field for kids and pets to roam. A few tables with BBQ grills are next to the playground and have a neat wagon theme. My kid enjoyed seeing the resident peacock roaming the neighborhood and also someone riding their horse across from the park. There is a large playground and smaller playground for toddlers. There are also swings for older kids and toddlers between the restrooms and windmill. Besides basic wear and tear I didn’t notice any damage or graffiti. On the two days we visited, the park was clean so I’m a little surprised by other reviews mentioning that it was dirty. We’d visit again if we’re ever nearby.
We come here often and it's always lovely, no matter the season. Be aware od the adorable wildlife though: the park is teeming with whitetail dear squirrels (they look like 4" meerkats - absolutely no joke). They're completely harmless, in our experience; there's just dozens of them that run in your path, and down into their underground homes. If your kids or dogs are easily triggered, this would not be the park to take them to - just a friendly heads up. Also, the surrounding neighborhoods have peahens and peacocks....and they love to climb things (like this roof), so just be on alert that they too roam the area....which we love. Prayers you and yours are fully blessed and enjoy this place as much as we do!
Nice little neighborhood park clean well maintained bud to Small
Cute and small western theme park. Little playground, place for what looks like horseshoes, and little swing set. Right next to it, can see and ride horses. Not sure on the horse information would suggest look online and should be website with contact information.
This park is super fun and looks amazing, the theme is really cool and it has a great atmosphere. Lots of grass and lots of games to play, there is even horseshoe. We also wer surprised to see a peacock wandering around. There are wagon covered tables and a windmill
This park is amazing. I have met so many families and everyone that visits seems really nice. My kids are 7, 4 and two and they all love this park so much. We just took the hike to the top of the little mountain and we all made it up and down safely.
Great place to fly drones. Wide open and empty since the kids are back in school. Field is immaculate. I do see a few dogs but it's obvious that the owners pick up any waste and put it in one of the many trash cans. Peaceful, quiet and safe.
This is a fantastic hidden gem. Only a few people on bikes and a couple walking their dogs. Trails up, around and next to all the surrounding mountains. Crossed the wash into Red Rock conservation area and climbed up the hill a bit, got an excellent
What a great place!! Check out the information center. The trails have a lot of great scenery, birds, rabbits, and ponds. No bikes or pets. The sunset is beautiful from there.
I LOVE this place!!! Wildlife everywhere! Creeks, ponds, a beaver, clean safe trails, helpful resources available all along the way, and the park is HUGE!!!! The best part is how close and accessible it is. If you don't know the Wetlands Park it will
Splash pad is AWESOME and partially shaded! The playground has shade too and a side for big and little kids. There's also a sand area. There's lots of grassy areas for picnics and plenty of shade, and a beach volleyball court. It's 11am in the Summer
This is a great park to bring your dogs or kids to play. There is a nice skate park, area to workout, or plenty of place to play a game. You can walk along the sidewalk or stop at one of the covered areas. Being that there is not much grass in Las Ve
