Disappointing Stay - Cleanliness Issues Rating: 1/5 I recently had the misfortune of staying at this motel, and unfortunately, my room was in a deplorable state. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lingering smell of must. The bed sheets appeared worn and had suspicious stains, making me question their cleanliness. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with soap scum covering the shower walls and buildup on the shower head. The toilet looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. The sink was clogged, and the floors had not been properly cleaned after multiple occupants. For the price, I expected a basic level of cleanliness and comfort. Sadly, this motel fell far short. Until they address these issues, I would not recommend staying here.

I initially planned on leaving a four star review because upon arrival it was inviting and clean. The rooms were adequate and the amenities were good. The only 2 things that could use improvement were a disconnected smoke detector and dingy colored sheets/pillowcases. So we really didn't have any major issues. I then decided to drop it to 3 stars because a problem occurred during the stay when our room was not cleaned, serviced or touched over the 3 days we stayed there. I had to go down to the front desk EACH DAY to say nothing was done in our room. I was given towels and supplies to restock it ourselves each time. On the first day the gentleman made a note of it, on the second day the young lady was very nice and actually tried to call someone for assistance. You charge people a "cleaning fee" that never happened so why should I be charged for it? I sent an email after our return, explaining everything. Never got a response or comment so it was dropped to 2 stars. We stayed there because of its location to our friends. Not sure if that will happen again.

I stayed here 15 years ago and unfortunately nothing has changed. This is a worn out hotel. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom was dated and needed a refurbish. Breakfast was very minimal, even by hotel breakfast standards. I won't stay here again. The room was cheap ($100) and the hotel drew a lot of contractors that need to watch their costs.

Respectfully, this hotel is nowhere near worth the $123 I paid. Sorry. It is not disgusting as some reviews imply, the bed was comfy, and the hotel staff were so kind and accommodating. However it is old, has some plumbing issues (the sink spurted water all over the bathroom), sticky, and clearly has some parking lot security issues. With the choices in town, this was the cheapest I could find which was really shocking. This is a $60 hotel all day and would be great stay for that bracket. If you are headed to ABQ up from the south, STOP IN BELEN! Don't keep going to Los Lunas and screw yourself out of an extra $70 like I did :)

This is our 4th or 5th time at this hotel over as many years. Sadly the cleanliness and overall condition of the room and premises has greatly declined. The rooms are cost about $110 a night, and realistically are worth no more than $65-75. Dingy, thin towels and bedding, dirt in every corner, security doors propped open with rocks because the card readers are broken, both rooms we were given had major plumbing issues, the "breakfast" is a bad joke - etc.

Rooms are spacious and nice. Pillows are hard. When we went for the continental breakfast, all that they offer is bread and cereal. When we asked why there wasn't more, we were told by the owner that they serve bread and cereal as he was eating a to go order from a restaurant of eggs, biscuits and gravy. This is a big disappointment 😞

MY car got broken into. THEY RAN SACKED MY CAR Reported to manager nothing was done. Right in the front of hotel MY CAR WAS PARKED Wow. DONT STAY HERE, AWFUL ROOMS AND HORRIBLE, SO CALLED BREAKFAST. CHARGE WAY TOO MUCH FOR THESE ROOMS

Good morning everyone I want to tell you me and my family really enjoyed staying at the Western skies Inn Hotel, the staff our so friendly, kind, and caring and has a Servants heart, the hotel room was very clean, beds,were so comfortable, and just what I like the floors were carpet with nice designs on them, J one of the staff members that worked there was very helpful on showing were the ice machines are, and also were the kitchen is, and the tv has good direct channels with no problem getting signal so if you are traveling I would recommend you and your family to stay there 🙏😊🙌
