Absolutely terrible. As a traveling musician I have stayed at a lot of motels. This place, hands down, has to be the worst. Maintenance is non-existent, housekeeping was terrible. The room was filthy and in general disrepair. The first room received had a rusted through shower, the floors were nasty, and smelled terribly of mold- no doubt due to the shower. The second was a little better but still did not inspire any confidence. More rust in the bathroom, stains on the chair, I have no idea what was on the walls. To make matters worse was a German cockroach (the worst kind) nymph that was in the bathroom. How can any manager/owner of a motel think that this is ok? Steer clear of this place. Obviously I didn’t research enough. My first clue should have been the “POSITIVELY NO REFUND POLICY”
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Manager and family lies. And literally screamed at me for complaining about multiple issues. No hot water, no ice machine, no phone, no coffee pot, filthy mold smelling fridge... the list goes on. Let me stay with my well behaved pups abd then find out from Booking.com it is a no pet hotel. No receipt for the 20.00 a day I paid extra. Asked 10 times for a manager to call me. Non existent. But this and the motel next door run by the sane family. |Told me I could walk next door and get ice. Say no breakfast because of COVID... lie...your motel next door serves it. |The manager/owner should be ashamed at how this motel is run. |No chance to change rooms... no sorry about anything. Just practically yell at you and then hang up the phone. |Notice how not one review gets responded too. Not one .|DO NOT stay here!!
I needed a room for a night and it provided that. The comforters were not clean so I pulled both of them off of the beds and just slept with the sheets which also had some stains. The staff was friendly though and it did provide me a place to sleep for the night. Did not see any bugs so that was good. The size of the room was nice and big and it does come with a mini fridge and a microwave. It also has a coffee maker, single cup serving and a hair dryer mounted on the wall. Also included was an ironing board and an iron though I didn't use those since I was only there one night.
It was ok but the sink was stopped up in the first room and sheets were stained and the second room the shower was dirty hairs was in it,also the bed made noise when u get in and out and the beds was hard they weren't so comfortable. When it was time to check out the housekeepers bothered us and knocked on the door before it was even check out time.
Small town. Loving it. Here working close. The owners are VERY friendly and helpful. The staff is as well. Opened the door to the room was very happy to see that it looked EXACTLY like the pictures advertised. It seems to be an older establishment but has been upgraded with new paint, doors and locks, furniture is nice, flat screen TV fridge in my room with microwave. Very clean. The bed is very comfortable. It is pet friendly. Also just the over all appearance is pleasing. It isn't a extravagant place but for me cleanliness and courteousness is a must. I have seen no loitering outside. Quiet at night and during the day. In a nice neighborhood. I am VERY pleased. And the price is very reasonable. Will be staying and paying by the week because from out of town working. Thumbs Up!
Positive: The room was clean and walls newly painted. the Rug had a little to be desired. It did have a microwave and refrigerator .. Negative: The first room had no bar to hang cloths. They gave us a second room. It had a cloths bar but coffee pot was missing pieces. There was no hair dryer. They brought me a hair dryer that hung on the wall. There was no phone. One straight back chair at desk. Thank goodness there was a McDonalds for breakfast. The first night I had to call the police for a domestic violence (screening, beating on doors). 3 police cars came. Called management but they did not do anything. This could have happened at any motel. But I was the one to call police. Next 2 nights were fine..
I stayed at this motel due to being in an accident and stuck in an area that I knew nothing about. It was the worst $70 spent. There was a bug on the wall, the microwave was filthyand I had bites on my leg from what I would assume were bed bugs because I was wrapped in the blanket. After being there for 3hrs we left. I wouldn't suggest this motel for anyone! Bed bugs, roaches and nasty! Honestly I should have been given my money back
The location is a good spot in town. It is by gas stations, pharmacy, ect. The room sizes are larger than most motels. The room it self was nice and recently renovated. The only thing is they didn't have an ice machine. But the person up front has a small one for breakfast and was very nice and gave some as soon as I asked. Would definitely stay there again.
It's the people...and the place. The experience is made richer by the people you "meet" while walking through the exhibits. They tell the history through the "voices" of those that were there. The large house is unfurnished, but open so you can fil
