We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very pleasant. The room was pretty good, older but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, with a memory foam topper. Big Roku TV with lots of channels. Big refrigerator with separate freezer. The room was pretty clean. The bathroom had a musty smell, but it cleared out with the vent turned on. Coffee pot left a lot to be desired. You might bring your own, don't forget your coffee and filters and cups too. The Pioneer Restaurant, next door, was awesome. Overall, it was a good experience. I would go back.
We stayed a weekend here recently and found the staff very accommodating and helpful. Love the beds, our room was very clean, no issues. The lady at the front desk checked in on us, very kind and polite. We will definitely be returning.
Our rooms were absolutely filthy. Shower head hit you at mid chest. Layed towels on floor to avoid the filth. Shower was moldy and had a window in the shower. Room smelled musty. Definitely not worth the money!
In the middle of remodeling rooms up front or decent and the guy that checked us in was really polite and understanding about rooms
Front office lady very well mannered and friendly. Concerned about making the guest comfortable happy. Excellent service. Enjoyed the upgrades in the rooms. Great rules for quiet time.
We recently had to make a last minute trip to the Lake of the Ozarks for a family event and decided to book our stay at Western Hills since we didn't mind the extra 20-30 minute drive to get down to the lake. The beds were incredibly comfortable, rooms recently updated with new floors, LED light strips, a massive mounted flat screen, and new bathroom fixtures. The owner was super easy to communicate with and helped us find the right room for my two kids, fiance and myself. 10/10 recommend and currently planning our next stay!
Me, my daughter, and 2 young grandsons stayed there on a Monday night. If you want a quiet night's sleep, in a comfortable bed, for a reasonable price, this is the place! We didn't stay in one of the newly renovated rooms, because they are changing to no smoking, even on the property. This will be a plus for many people. The on-site manager is very nice - we chatted for a while outside while the boys were playing with squirt guns.It was a great room for not being redone! Clean, comfortable beds, and quiet. The only problem we had was with the TV. Either the internet isn't so great up there, or the remote was having a tizzy fit, but we did make it work. We would stay there again - if they have any rooms for people who smoke outside. But I definitely recommend it.
It doesnt look like much. In fact I wanted to turn around. But, I gave it a shot anyways. I had arrived early because I drove from Michigan to MO through the night. The manager was very accomodating was kind enough to get a room ready, and let me into a room early. The room surprised me very much!! It is spacious, clean and had everything I needed! A full size fridge, nuker, a big TV and a coffeemaker!! Everything looks modern, and I slept like a baby! I think the mattress is some kind of memory foam. Very comfortable. There is outside furniture, so we can sit outside and relax. Restaurants, gas stations and Walmart are in walking distance. Turns out this place is a little Diamond in the rough! Would absolutely recommend. Thank you!
Easy to find, plenty of free parking, handicap accessible. Motorized wheelchair and strollers available. Nice gift shop. Our cave tour guide was prompt, courteous and well informed. Destiny explained all the cave features as we passed through, an
