West Wind Motel - Motel in Midland - 3808 W Wall St, USA

Staff is very rude, they were knocking on the door 10 minutes prior to check out time to remind us that we only have 10 minutes to get out or pay for another day.at check out time they excessively banged on the door so aggressively I almost thought there was some kind of emergency outside the room.my 9 year old son is epileptic & was at that moment having a seizure on the bathroom floor,moments after he stopped convulsing,they were still knocking, with dwindled intensit2y when the door burst open to the woman that had checked us in the night before not wasting a second before she started in with her barrage of disrespectful yelling ,":why u not answer door?" She asked if I would be staying another night ( you couldn't pay me to stay another night) I told her no but can I maybe pay for a late checkout since while having this discussion I was still wearing a towel on my body and on my head she said I can pay for another night or check out immediately or she is going to call police! Surely they have dealt with similar situations at this motel before & I doubt they even show up.i gave her 60 from my wallet, which was a bit short but she apparently didn't mind because she turned around and walked out leaving door open for all the very sketchy characters that hang around the parking lot to get a good long shameless gawk at me & my son.needless to say I left shortly after to go to find another hotel for the 3 more days we would be in Midland,a tent would be a step up.I I could carry on about the cleanliness,or the shady neighborhood where it's located,or the fact I watched two different hotel guests pick the lock to get into what I'm assuming was their room since they didn't come back out for longer than one would imagine a thief would stick around after committing a burglary.so essentially anyone with a credit card ot pocket knife can let themselves in to any room they want.evidence of bed bugs at least at one point being a problem.im done ranting,but if i prevent even one unsuspecting traveler or future guest( more like victim ) from wasting their money to spend the night in a dumpster with the most rude people running the show then my time was undoubtedly well spent.

Absolutely the worst place to stay at and the inside is filthy and has bugs all inside the rooms and most importantly the lady and her husband in the front is totally rude 😈

Quite little motel good location lived there for bout 6-8 all together

Rooms were recently redone . has dark laminated wood flooring and nice marble in the bathroom and sink area . the bed was clean and the bathroom is spacious. Room service was offered everymorning. The family running the motel are firm but kind and helpful people.would definetly recommend for a quick stay.

This is the worst hotel on Wall Street I have ever been in. There was Black Mold on back of bath tub where tub & wall meet, mold on front bottom of toilet and mold on outside wall & floor at tub. I got bleach and sprayed all the Black Mold twice a day for 3 days. Ceiling falling in the bathroom, one wall light doesn’t work in room and green paint splattered on the orange paint in wall. Pillow cases had hair on them. I never slept between the sheets or used their pillows or towels. I wish I could give this hotel a zero. DO NOT STAY

This is a disgusting place. Carpets are filthy, holes in the wall, bugs that are dead and bugs that are alive, bathrooms are horrible, and the Indian/Spanish lady is very rude! She tried to kick us out after we paid and is very hormonal. I will never be staying at West Wind again. The only good thing I could say is that the man, I don’t know his name, is very friendly and kind hearted. I rated this motel a 1 star because it’s the lowest rating possible.

Was a great 3 days, alan the owner checked me in and was totally cool. Will stay here again on my next business trip to midland
