West View Motel - Motel in Lansing - 15713 Old U.S. 27, USA

Nothing at this motel is good. Half the rooms have odors, no heat or air. Maintenance is all half done and very sloppy. Parking lot is full of pot holes. And the lawn maintenance is terrible. Everything about this place is unclean. Stay away. the rooms were terrible and the amenities were minimal.

The owner is a AMAZING Understanding person. The place is quiet and clean. No trouble makers. Rooms are as expected for what you pay. Most everyone there is great. Only one drama queen that is nosey. If she would mind her own Businesses. The place would be extremely GREAT!!!

Decent "no frills" place with great weekly rates. The owner is friendly and fair. We felt very safe because the owner keeps an eye out for trouble and doesn't tolerate crimes of any kind. The only real disturbance in the couple of months we had to stay there was a drunk who got lost and thought he was at another motel. I highly recommend West View Motel if you need a safe, quiet, and cheap place to stay.

The Motels on the North end of Lansing r usually nothing to write home about, HOWEVER, when faced with a situation where it was necessary & affordable, we stayed at the West View Motel on US 27 for a few wks. I was wary of staying there as the North side Motels usually don't have a good reputation.....i soon found out that the West View Motel was definetly different than the others.......the owner is a very kind & caring Man. There was not any in & out traffic......the other tenants were there for a stay not unlike ours. Everyone looked out for each other, making sure people had their needs taken care of.....the owner keeps a clean, comfortable Motel. He is very approachable & gets to know the people he rents to. For the budget we were working with, while looking for a permanent place to live, we couldn't have ended up in a better place, nor found better people as neighbors. We would see the traffic going in & out of the other Motels, not to mention the frequency of police at the other Motels. Not once in the wks we were there was there a police car in the prkng lot for any reason at the West View. I felt very safe during the whole time we were there. We both would like to again Thank the owner for keeping a safe, clean place for us to stay. He is an Awesome person!

It is conveniently located. Major reason for the decision to stay. It's a motel so you get what you pay for but the cleanliness of the rooms have obviously fallen since the last owners. You can legit see cobwebs on the walls and the room smelled of dog-water container still present. Most of the people that stay here are live in

If I could give 0 stars I would. This motel is beyond disgusting, first off we waited nearly an hour for the woman to "clean" the room and we come in and there is trash on the fleer next to the night stand the floor was dirty the desk had not been wiped down there was syrup on the sheet witch tells me they had not been changed the bathroom sink had not been cleaned out and worst of all there was poop spread on the wall next to the toilet. I will never come back here again and I am strongly thinking about calling someone about a health code because this has got to be a violation

Horrible place to stay the owner favors certain people there and won’t fix anything I’m working on trying to get ahold of his boss. I would not recommend anyone going there n staying for a long period of time.

Very warm and nice atmosphere. Owners are really n ice and treat you like family. Real clean and affordable!!
