Beautiful! Peaceful. Easy stairs to the beach. Go later towards sunset and you might get one of the very few spots to park. Maybe early morning during the week would work too. Not sure.
A lovely place to stop and see the lakeshore. There is a decent staircase down to the beach and lakeshore so plan accordingly. They have a great pavilions area, awesome park, and even a bathroom! This is a beautiful area of MI happy place! Check out Dees Lakeshore Farm right down the street one mile for delicious fresh Michigan grown goodies!
A fantastic free beach/park that was not busy. Technically only a small portion of the space is a public beach but you can walk along the shore no matter what. Really enjoyed this spot away from the crowds in GH/ Holland!
Great spot for a day at the beach! Nice playground, restrooms, grills, picnic areas, and awesome beach access. Definitely gotten more busy over the years, but it’s still a great choice if you arrive early.
Took my daughter's and their friends to the beach for the sunset and some swimming for her birthday. Highly recommend. Beautiful views.
My FAVORITE beach in Michigan! The rocks! One of the MOST beautiful beaches with infinite rocks of all colors and sizes!! The stairway is not too bad of a trek up and down either. Very doable. Public restrooms on site and decent sized parking lot.
Look at all them people!! We got tipped to go here thinking it would be quiet. Labour Day weekend… should have known. Beach is clean, but lots of pebbles! Nice place to stay for an aftrnoon.
Easy to get lost if you don't remember which set of steep stairs you came down. From the part of the beach that I was on, it's completely handicap inaccessible. That said, people the I spoke to/acknowledged when I passed them were friendly, dogs were friendly for the most part and on leash and the rock hunting was plentiful.

What a great restaurant in the area. Kind of a hidden hole. Service is great. Say for 10-15 mins looking over the menu because there are so many options. Food is great, fresh and quick. Sangarita is worth it. It's a little pricey but for a nice night
Love this ice cream place ð We always have a great time and good food with family. They have an amazing large tree that fits over most of the outdoor tables like a giant natural canopy. Fisherman's delight and Going Ape pictured.
