My family and I absolutely loved this place. The bathrooms and showers were clean, the camp sites were in a beautiful set back woodsie area, and staff was friendly. There were so many amenities such as play ground, pool, dog park, basketball court, etc. My family and I thought it was really cool to hear the lions roaring from the campground. We would absolutely be returning.

Like other reviews mention, this place is very expensive for a RV park. Yes, the sites are good and the park is clean. The pool was also well-maintained. But over $110 plus tax per night for off season is hugely too much! We took the two night discount for the entry tickets, but Lion Country Safari is undergoing a lot of renovations, so it made the feeling of being overcharged that much more. The main office stopped making coffee, so I couldn't get a cup at 10:45am on a Sunday. I've been to other KOAs in past years and have felt they were a great value. Not so much here.

Decent little campground close to the safari. This place is in the middle of nowhere. No frills. We stayed here for work. Make sure you go to the safari early. We went near closing time and the animals were all trying to go back to their pens to eat and sleep.

Stayed here 12/23. I wouldn’t stay again but am glad we did. The sound of the lions and monkeys was pretty amazing & slightly ominous. The park is old and few sites allowed for our big 41’ Class A towing Jeep. There are several restaurants and a grocery store about 5 miles away. Their wi-fi was AMAZING fast. Best we’ve ever had. Utilities were fine. The aides in the office were some of the nicest staff I’ve ever met. Each day I came in collecting Amazon packages, they couldn’t have been kinder. My main complaint was the sites. Some had a white gravel and if you had a 5th wheel w/ mid-entry, your door would step out to a nice concrete pad. Our site was a sandy muddy bog. This was NOT good as it rained 3 of the 6 days we were there. Having to step across a sand pit made it difficult to keep the inside of our coach clean. Every time the dogs went outside I had to wash the sand off their paws before they walked around. I was constantly cleaning the floors. Even the outdoor blanket I bought specifically for sand (as we are headed to the Keys) didn’t help much). I did address this w/ the staff and asked if someone could lay some of the white gravel. She explained to me that when they lay the white gravel it actually comes out as a white powder (I imagine it being some sort of gypsum?) the powder turns to hard gravel over time and with exposure to rain. I should have inquired earlier before the rain started and my husband left for a 3 day business trip back west. I was stuck in this spot and can’t drive the coach. I would suggest to anyone in a Class A, to make sure your front door doesn’t open to a dirt or sand pit if rain is in the forecast.

Decent campground. Excellent pool, nice playground. However, it felt kind of deserted and creepy while we were there. Location is great with safari right next door (yes, you can hear the lions), fairly close to stores and about 35min from palm beach.

I am a KOA member and this is my second stay at this location. The facility is nice but Kathy the manager is rude and seems to pick and choose which customers she gives preference to. Her unprofessionalism has made our stay unpleasant both times, and it's sad that these type of people use their positions to ruin an experience for families who work so hard and come to enjoy this special time together.

Definitely stay at this resort. It’s paradise. Getting connected with the nature is the best. The front office staff as well as the maintenance team are absolutely incredible. The grounds are kept immaculate. You will love to hear the lions roar in the morning. Get off the electronics and get out in nature. This resort offers everything. Pool, family game room, dog park, laundry, facilities, and so much more.
