Such an incredible collection of artifacts and memorabilia of life way out west. Super friendly and helpful museum staff, too. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pecos for some reason.
Such an amazing museum my grandson was in aw of everything. We had a great time looking around and learning about the history. The young lady that started us off was very informative, polite and just wonderful. She asked my grandson at the end to let her know which room he liked the most. He liked them all such a wonderful place.
The lady who works it is Very nice and informative. $8 entry, open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm 3 floors of interesting 1800s and 1900s stuff. My brother told me I should go and I'm glad I did...Loved It❣️
I thought this museum would just be west Texas history. Yes, this museum has that. However, I didn't realize that it also covers history of the town itself. Even recent history, from the last 50 years. Very informative, and bigger than I expected. You could easily spend a couple of hours here, if you read most of what is available. I recommend it, if you're in town.
It shows so much history & that's easy to understand ,the music was loud so we can't hear what the bartender was saying, but definitely a lot of history to see
40 rooms filled with antiques. Wear your walking shoes. The gift shop stayed open for me after the Museum was closed
If you haven't been you need to go.... Take your time
The highlight of our trip. Showed great insight into the life on the frontier and in Pecos over all. All items were well preserved and one got to appreciate just how tough the early folks were and how difficult life was.The places aura was amazing and being a western fiction fan I took my sweet time enjoying the place. Would love to visit again

First time here. The menu leans more for the English speaking customer. It has limited Mexican plates. I ordered Calabasitas con asadero. Since no egg plates that I liked, I got 2 side eggs and beans with chorizo. It was delicious. The place is very
It's the best main camp I ever had the chance to stay. the food is definitely about everything I ate in all the others main camp. Also the services and people working there are great.
I will definitely come back if I ever work around Pecos.
This place is as authentic as a beautiful Mexican bakery can get! The little kitchen on the side is waiting time only the food is so good. The Menudo is delicious! Love the pan dulce, the sweet beard with a fresh cup of coffee. It has always been goo
This is a busy place, even at 1 o'clock, but service was fast and friendly. Food came quickly and was hot and delicious. I love the chips and salsa they serve (is complimentary). The chips are the thick, crispy kind they fry themselves... My favorite
Although the rooms are incredibly small, I can't count it against them since it's a man camp. The rooms are clean, and the included food is the best quality I've ever had from a man camp. Also the staff is very friendly. The only thing I without comp
Thank you to the staff here under their GM Holly. We appreciate everything above and beyond. We broke down and this establishment allowed us to hang out in their hotel. Free from the elements outside and never treated us differently. Thank you for y
