Very good place for nature trail. Properly maintained and very safe. Message board / sign are placed on trial. Lake side view is just awesome and if you are lucky could see many tortoise, various birds and Deers. Very good place for photography.
Radnor Lake is nice quiet place to visit. Easy trails take you around the lake, allowing a lot of little vistas of the lake. Wild turkeys were in abundance, as well as turtles basking in the sun. Occasionally you might see a deer or two!
There is nice visitor center with all kinds of information.
My only wish would be if there could be places to stop and dangle your feet in the water. The trails are fenced on both sides of you and warn not to leave the trail due to possible erosion. ...understandable.
Great place. Do visit it!
Great park to walk and enjoy. Has a paved area for walking with pets or ground trails as well but limited pet access. Lots of wildlife everytime we go. Parking fills up fast so get there early or take a Lyft.
This place NEVER has parking. I’ve attempted to go over a dozen times and every single time the lots are completely filled and traffic is backed up. I’ve also attempted to put in on google maps “East Lot”, “North Lot” and “South Lot” only to be met with it redirecting me right back to West Lot. I’ve never been so frustrated in my life when just wanting to go for a peaceful walk in the park.
Beautiful nature area that is quite well maintained. 3 or 4 trails to hike the longest being about 4 mile loop that is moderately strenuous, the rest are fairly easy. It's almost all wooded, so lots of shade and trails are regularly mulched. Limited parking so might have to wait a bit by late morning. The main lot off Granny White Pike where the main visitor center is has more parking available than the east lot off Franklin Rd.
Really great park for a casual stroll. Also has a couple of off-loops to add a little bit of distance and elevation. Generally very crowded on weekends, but pretty calm on weekdays during business hours.
