Nice place for a quick walk if you are looking for fresh air. You'll definitely find it there... it's about 2 miles total if you park at the entrance and walk to the end. There's a nice bench and small area to rest. Remember to mind your step and to hit a bathroom beforehand.
A great place to walk and enjoy the views. In the fall, the colors are beautiful, but the summer can be buggy. Lots of people walk dogs here, and they provide poop bag and disposal stations at several locations. Water for your dogs too near their entrance.
Absolutely gorgeous easy hiking area. Lots of wildlife and fun little areas to explore.
This is a great place for walking and hiking the loop trails. I do the east and west woodland trails for about a 4 mile loop. The side trails like Lima and Oscar offer a nice diversion around the West river.
The West River is a nice paddle, only a little ice on Harrington Pond.
Massachusetts has only 2% of grasslands remaining and the west hill dam area is one of them. It offers all kinds of trails and mountain bike. Dogs are welcome. Ample place for picnic and grill if you are in mood for a relaxed afternoon. West hill river is 20 miles long and there is a 48 ft high west hill dam built in 1960. I visited during first week of September 2021 and some parts of yellow / red trail that I took was closed due to recent flood 💦 - overall a nice experience. I wish I had my mosquito repellant so that I would have spent some more time sitting 🪑 calmly on the benches placed at the right locations.
Awesome place. Good for riding bikes and walking around
The mtb trails are getting better. There is a skills park and jump line trail that is good practice. Nice amenity for families wanting to mountain bike together.
Well maintained dog park with 2 separate fenced in areas for small (under 30lb) and large dogs. Both sides have a water fountain and sand pit. Lots of grass with a cement path and a shaded area with benches. Usually fairly busy - even at 6am I'm nev

If they tell me that this place was like in the photos, I say, it cannot be, it is a worthy representative of the proverb that of not judging by the cover, the place is so welcoming, a lady with a very beautiful woman welcomes you with a beautiful sm
