West End Grill - Bar & grill in Randolph - 63 Mazzeo Dr, USA

This is food that belongs in a senior living home. Absolutely disgusting food. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars was because of the pizza and the atmosphere. I ordered a clam chowder to start and the stuffed shrimp with crab meat for my entree. The clam chowder was the thickest chowder I’ve ever witnessed and should be a crime. I was starving so I put up with it. When the entree came out, you can forget it. Walmart has better frozen crab meat than that. And for the price you’d think you’d get lump crab meat… nope. Vegetables just boiled in water and tossed in the plate. Rice put in a microwave. I do not recommend coming here if you’re starving. Maybe go for drinks and pizza.

Great atmosphere. Clean space. Friendly hostess. The food was delicious. They were close to closing and our waitress was picking up so I get it but I would’ve ordered a drink once dinner arrived had she checked in long enough for me to do so. Would go back just not so close to closing. Bar vibe seemed inviting as well.

Food was ok. My steak was half under cooked. The french onion soup was not that great. Could have been better. There's wasn't much on the menu as well.

From the outside, didn't expect too much. The inside had a classier ambience with dim lighting in the dining room. The restaurant has a nice local vibe with the bar and dining area separated. The portion for the Ahi Tuna was small, with a few pieces of tuna and I couldn't stop eating the fried wontons. The steak and cheese egg rolls was surprisingly very good and definitely hit the craving for bar food. The Buffalo Mac & Cheese was excellent with strong flavors and a good amount of chicken for the size of the dish.

Randomly stopped here for lunch. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there which made me feel the same. Regardless we stayed and ordered chicken wings, calamari, steak tips and a chicken parm panini. The wings were delicious and well portioned. The calamari was good with the Thai chili sauce but portion compared to price was not suitable. The steak tips lunch was good because it was grilled not due to seasoning or flavor. Chicken parm panini was good but would have been amazing if they used a better bread. It was two slices of what could have been wonder bread. The waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee which turned me off (although after looking the dessert didn’t look worth it regardless). Although the food wasn’t bad overall experience was pretty mediocre sadly.

This is now my 3rd review edit of the restaurant. I was unhappy about some previous visits and stopped going for a while. Today, however, was an excellent experience. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which were excellent. For my entree I got the short ribs which came with a massive portion of mashed potatoes and topped with sauteed spinach. It was absolutely perfect, but I could only eat half of the potatoes. I ordered a side of the parmesan risotto because in previous visits it wasn't good. I wanted to see if it was better and it was perfect. I also asked them to make everything with minimal salt and they definitely did the best they could. Great meal, great server, pleasant atmosphere with lots of seating. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to go again.

I had to go out to canton for work related business and took my wife with me so we could grab some lunch somewhere. She chose this place, we were very impressed. I see some reviews saying the food is mediocre but they ordered mediocre meals. We ordered the chicken and steak for dinner and clam chowder and bruschetta for appetizers. Everything was extremely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly (look at the picture) very tender, tasty and delicious. Super impressed with this place and definitely will be visiting again. Great food and casual dining room. Staff was friendly. No complaints here.

Service was friendly and courteous food was swift, Very clean and family oriented environment! (2/7/23) Recently revisit this restaurant since my last visit over 2 and a 1/2 month ago, had the short ribs. They were Exceptional! Tender nd spot on gravy . Mash was creamy , & spinach was cooked perfect. My company had the New York strips sirlion risotto
