Wonderful place to experience top-notch comfort food with truly friendly southern hospitality. During my visit with friends, the owner came out to announce that anyone not having a place for Thanksgiving would be welcome here. They will be serving a family style Thanksgiving meal, so bring a dish. What a wonderful way to give back to their community. I was very much amazed by his generosity.
Stopped by on our way home to San Antonio, TX. Great reviews! Customers were right! Staff was extremely friendly and made you feel like part of their family. Owner came by all the tables to welcome you. Service and food was excellent. Would highly recommend when going through Temple! 😀😀
Passing by, couldn’t be more suprised on how great the food and the team is.
Extremely clean inside. Courteous & helpful staff. Fair prices. Gets crowded daily. Everyone welcome regardless of race, religion, sexual orientaion, job description, political affiliations etc. For example I have seen congressmen from both sides of the isle, construction workers, local police, Federal officials, firemen, homeless people, military veterans, Texas Rangers, FBI, all walks of people there just to enjoy a good meal. From my many visits through many years, the only requirements seem to be that everyone deserves respect and should ❤️ the 🇺🇸.
Stopped in to have a burger. I saw they had a triple cheese burger, so I thought I would give it a go. As I was just looking at how the goodness was coming out, the burger, the waitress, came up to me and said "hey I don't know if you noticed but Wes (owner of the restaurant) realized that the burger he sent out was only a double meat and not a triple meet, do you want me to take it back and add the third patty or change it to a double?" OH, I told her make it a triple, so she took back and when she brought it back out, man! It was delicious and will be back again. Also, while we were there, the owner came out and thanked everyone for coming to his restaurant. He said there are 100 different restaurants in Temple and wanted to thank us for choosing his. Nice guy.
To dine at Wes' Burger Shack is to support your local community at a very needed level. You feel good that your dollars support not only a business, but their outreach to disadvantaged members our community. As a Hamburger, I can get something similar at other locations, but this burger is very satisfying because it represents more than something to eat. Service was great and the atmosphere is pretty standard for a diner experience.
Love the food and people at Wes's!!! Simple menu, but everything we have tried is great! And they have a salad bar! Not many of those left these days. Fresh veggies and 3 meats all on the self-serve salad bar. Hamburgers, fried catfish, and hamburger steaks are all delish! And make sure you get an order of their onion rings! They have perfected the batter to onion ratio. Service is quick and Friendly, like a big family. And Wes not only comes out to the dining room to check on everyone, he gives thanks and prays right in the middle of the crowded dining room!!! That is the love of Jesus on display and working in our lives. Great food, but even greater people. Love to support locally owned and operated small business!!
I've had burgers from all over and Wes never fails to make THE best burger I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I can't recommend them enough.
I are at the picnic table outside. weather was beautiful. I guess the lady with the restroom problem didn't see the large sign that says "no public restroom". employees have always been very polite and respectful to their customers.
My son is 8 and started at Legends in January 2023. He enjoys it but I've seen a marketable improvement in his confidence as well as discipline that he didn't have before. Everyone from Travis, his wife and staff are extremely welcoming and support

This place is beautiful! The decór and coffee choices are great. My son loved his Matcha Moon Latte and my Autumn Moon Latte was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit when in town!
Went for the first time and got tacos. They were really good! Only downside is it's CASH only but there's literally an ATM across the street inside the corner store. Would recommend and will be returning! Customer service was great as well.
Absolutely loved everything we tried here! Both the beef pho and the spicy pho had such great flavor. The spring rolls were delicious and tasted so fresh. I also loved the slight heat the peanut sauce gave off. Canât wait to come back
