Wendy's - Fast food restaurant in Lyons - 8501 Ogden Ave, USA

It's a shame that this location is acting so cheap with their food and customer service. Wendy's is typically good but you can tell there's something wrong about the way this store is ran. As the saying goes "the fish rots from the head"

Theirs a bunch of teenagers working this location, staff is either rude or nonchalant, made my order wrong on several occasions. I recieved 2 ice cold burgers yesterday. Asked for a refund, manager said he can’t give a refund but can remake the order. I refused and requested my money back and in the end I never got my money back, their workers are unsanitary making food with no gloves, one worker walked in from out side with no gloves and and started preparing food truly disgusting. The seats are filthy and the floors have not been swept in days.

I have been coming to this location for 4 years now and it has never been this bad. The order screen at the drive through hasn't worked in a long time. You get no order confirmation, 4 of 5 last visits the order was wrong and I never got a receipt with any order. Fool me once,, twice,,,Bye, Felicia. I am not usually one to post bad reviews, but get your stuff together!

I went late in the evening a few days ago after a long day to purchase 2 Large Chili's at this site with Cheddar asked they stir the pot so the meat and beans are present. Along with 2 baked potatoes with everything. When I got home this is what we encountered 2 dried hard potatoes. The chili was liquid thin with barely any beans I must say it had the ground meat. 🤢 I immediately called to speak with the Manager present at the time named Oscar who at the moment was apologetic who took my first name and said he would inform the day Manager of the incident and would be given the order at no charge this was over $20.00 plus. So I go today to obtain my order at no charge the current Manager Susana said she needed to verify this with Manager Oscar via a call. Today 11-16-23 I waited patiently only to be told yes per "Oscar" but it would only be for 1 set losing over $10.00 😳 I responded to the Manager Susana unacceptable and disrespectful she re-iterated only 1 he was approving. I did state I will not accept I spent and am now losing over $20.00 I told her that's fine I know what I will do. That is filing a complaint today with the Wendy's Corporation on the bad food and lack of good Customer Service with a full reimbursement. I have had once in a while some minor bad items but always let it go. This was too much money to look the other way. Also, some of the young people at the drive-thru again "some" are not welcoming and can be aloof.

First time here. The drive-thru line was long, so we got down to dine in. I love wendy's! Their burgers are always good. I like their chicken burgers and baconator fries! The staff was very nice and the service was great. The food was delicious! The place was very clean. Would come back! I recommend to download app. Earn reward points and take advantage of their offers/deals!

Came in a few minutes to closing on 1/14/24 and the manager (Devin) was an angel. He was so kind and needs a raise expeditiously!

Use to be my favorite fast-food chain but I'm second guessing it hard, the last very few times at this specific location has widdled down and it's such a disappointment to see. My "Large fries" EVERY TIME is a freakin extra small in a large container... Thought this was Wendy's not McDonald's... And actually thought I'd try something from the extras category and was a big mistake. Baconator cheese fries was the deal breaker today.. 2 bite size bacon bits and a millimeters worth of cheese not even mixed up or nothin just a cold glob... The burger wasnt bad at all. Won't be back at this location for a while unfortunately this one done it for me...

11/2 - Thursday - 7:30pm Drive thru, very busy. Crew is fast, efficient and polite! Kudos!
